Flat black quad tabs welded on

I put flat black quad tips on a black car and cut the bumper. They look exactly like the quad tips that are on the type s from 2009 . Just black! It is a sutle look but I think it looks cool. I will get you guys pics . I am just very anal and I want to adjust the one on the right side a little bit more . It is just under a quarter inch off. Short! That is no Boineau I don’t like that

I'm surprised nobody has cut out the TLX's rear reflectors and fit in LS 460's exhaust finishers like these:

My exhaust setup

I trimmed my bumper and had 3.5" round double wall tips welded on. Loo km s pretty good to me.

Looking at your guys posts, I like how Diddi2k12's tips look. I have a white tlx myself and I think its the chrome tips that gives it the final touch.

how did you trimmed the bumper? I have a base White TLX 2020 and I’d like to do exactly the same mod as you did to yours

Thanks bro! I love the look somewhat even better than the refresh models exhaust.

On the inside of the bumper where the existing tips are located there is actually a sectioned area with an extension from the inside of the bumper that goes towards the exhaust tips. I taped off the bumper then cut out that area with a dremel. Once I made my initial cut out I trimmed it slowly until I was satisfied.

I added some tips on mine as well but I also replaced my bumper for a 18 aspec with openings for tips. No muffler just straight pipe. For now..

I'm contemplating the same swap. Love the look of the v6 refresh models rear bumpers. Aiming for the other style rear bumper for the 18-20 v6 models though with the tips from the 09-14 TL.

Yeah I debated getting that bumper for a while. I think it’s the advance non a spec bumper. Super easy to swap yourself but the exhaust will be tricky depending on your end goals.
