Traffic info just stopped
Anyone aware of a system problem with the AcuraLink traffic integration with GPS? Before I start looking at issues with my vehicle, I want to be sure their system isn't down.
Traffic has has been showing up fine. Just stopped yesterday. No errors, other than when I try to access traffic incidents. I no longer see the indicator on the nav screeen and the red, yellow, green no longer shows up.
Vehicle issue or something system related at Acura? How can I check?

It has for the last 11 months (since the car was purchased) but was not there last night or early today. Just got in the vehicle and the TRF was showing in the bottom left of the nav, but no traffic info was displayed (no red, yellow, green along the roads).
Temporary issue on the back end?

It is easy to accidentally turn it off. While the map is showing, press the round Enter button. The top right entry controls it. If it says "Display" then it is currently turned off - select that entry to change it.

In Canada, I received a letter from Acura in July, that basically says the following:
Acura Canada has been informed that the Canadian telecommunications service providers are planning to decommission the cellular network that facilitates the operation of the AcuraLink services in my area. It has been reported to Acura Canada that this CDMA cellular network decommissioning is expected to start in the 2nd half of 2016, and is expected to be completed by 2017.
The letter goes on to say, that if you experience a problem with communications, that Acura will replace the existing Telematics Control Unit (TCU) with a new 4G LTE module. The replacement is free as long as the 4yr/80,000km distributors warranty is still in effect.
I live about 50 minutes north of Toronto, and only during the last week I have noticed the traffic icon missing from the NAV screen, along with the unavailability of traffic reports. The icon only seems to be missing for 50% of my trips, but I think it is a sign of the system being decommissioned.
