Would full size spare fit in trunk compartment
I'm considering buying an extra wheel to replace the spare. Would it fit into the trunk tire compartment, which currently holds the spare tire? The car would be SH-AWD with 18"s but I would use a Base 17" rim as the spare.

have you popped open the compartment to look? I highly doubt it will fit.

It doesn't fit. After fully swapping for 19inch wheels and tires set on my '14 TL SH-AWD, I thought the Stock 18inch and OEM tire would fit perfect. It didn't due to the shape of the trunk and IIRC the floor cover didn't close in place.
