The parking brake on my new-to-me 2011 TL is out of adjustment. I have the service manual and understand there is a minor adjustment at the lever and a major adjustment at the rear disc/drum. I believe I will need to do a major adjustment, which is fine, but I'm wondering why the parking brake shoes do not auto-adjust (or do they?).
