New to forum

I've been on here as a guest many times and have learned a lot about the TL. I have 2012 cbp with tan interior. I have added RSB, rear roof spoiler, TSW Paribolica 20x9 et35 wheels with 245/35 tires, Tien s/a coilovers, previous owner added led switchbacks that are used as DRL's. I'll post pics as soon as I figure that out.

Just using the wrong link from photobucket. Try posting the IMG URL code. It should post a full size photo.

I'm considering some 19x8.5 with 245 40 19, for my 2010 SH AWD. I have the option of going +35 or +45. I'm on stock suspension now, but I may do a very mild drop (no more than 1") in a few years. Would +35 rub without roll? I'm guessing +45 should be clear.

Yeah I thought that too. Then I see members' cars with the lip kit on. It just makes the car look more complete. What sucks is that I already scrape leaving the drive way. I know putting on the kit won't be any better

Not to worry, the place you're scraping is probably the black skirt underneath the front bumper that hangs low. The 12-14 TL OEM front skirt doesn't sit lower than that and don't make the front bumper lower at the bumpers center where it would normally come close to contacting the ground.

I am new to the world of wheels, and this offset thing is throwing me.

I have winter tires and summer tires. I decided to get a new set of rims for my barely-used summer tires, which are 18" and currently fit on the stock rims.

Everyone seems to be upgrading to 19-20", whereas I am sticking with 18". The rims I found that I really like have an offset of 38. Will that cause me any issues?

You will be ok on stock suspension. Check out the tire/rim calculator at the top of this page. Or ther a few online that will show a diagram. I am confident that you will have no problem with that offset. What is the Width of the wheel that you like? I'm running 20x9 offset of 35 and lowered 1.5 inches with not one problem. Many members on here run more aggressive setup with no modifications at all.

1.Brand of Rim - InfiniteWerks SS3
2.Rim size (diameter and width) -20x10.5
3.Offset - +11
4.Brand of tire - Continental Extreme Contact DWS06
5.Tire size -245/35/20
6.Drop Type and Amount - BC racing Coilovers but going to be on Air Lift 3H when I finally drive on them.
7.Do they rub - haven't driven on them yet. Only mounted at the shop.
8. Camber kit/fender work - Ingalls rear camber kit with rolled flat rear fenders. Front camber kit will be purchasing soon. May slightly pull fenders if needed.

I prefer to be stanced but functional so I won't run any more stretch than this setup. Traction is important to me.

In these pictures my camber is set at 0.

@ omgitsspooky
Thanks for the compliment. Haven't taken any recent pics of the enkei's nor the car lately due to work, but I'll do what I can once the weather clears up a bit.

@ SoL_TeK
Appreciate it.
Purchased the lug nuts from a place called 1320 Performance. The color I got is in gold which is hard to find for our 4th gen and still hasn't faded yet 1320 Performance Extended Lug nuts I mentioned them to a few members about it. You can also find them a lil cheaper on ebay as well & they'll match the prices on ebay. Last time I remember they had about 7-8 different colors to choose from in our size which is 14x1.5. Just make sure you get the right lug seats. Hope this helps.
