Restless Soal-A Work In progress

Just wanted to say "Thanks" for all the members who has dedicated their time and have shared their knowledge in this car culture. Without seeing or reading about the 4th gen UA8/UA9. I would've probably been with Lexus or the German team if I hadn't seen a few pioneers (O.G's) who set the stage for the 4g TL, but that was just a split second thought guys so don't on me for just adding that
Anyways, here's from a lil bit of the past to present. Still a work in progress...My bad if it's ass backwards on the time line, but whatever I have in my phone it'll have to do for now. Conservative approach after everything installed. That didnt last long lbs
18 wheeler busted a tire and rolled straight at me from the middle lane about 15-20 feet while i was about to exit (passenger side) on I•5 and had no way in hell avoiding it happened within a blink of an eye. Luckily she only received a busted lip.
Facelift after the freak accident
Customer couldn't pay up his dividends for my time and services so he offered these in exchange. F.O.B. (fresh off the box) reps that he was planning to install on his 3 series. After the shoe fitment. Not bad for reps but I'm not feeling it just because IT'S REPS and heavier than $h!+ !!! Its like we already own a heavy car why add more weight when she needs to lose LBS!!! Imagine a fat girl running track, trying to look good lol

At the time, no. Any local auto body shop should be able to do it. If your planning to do the front grill might as well do the lower trunk piece as well.

Thanks man. Does the complete bumper need to be removed for the trunk piece? I was trying to look for a DIY.

Not a bad idea justnspace I'll have them on the black market once I have more free time if it's not gone by that time.

today's weather=dark & gloomy

Work been dragging due to shipment being stuck in Utah. So decided to do my oil change by myself then do wheel and balance/tire rotation afterwards. Don't really know this area to well for the tire rotations, but went to the nearest shop that was in the heart of Silicon Valley. Long story short they just my mood up for the day. Oil change ✅
1st wheel (front passenger)
2nd wheel (rear passenger)
Why not make it a triple combo why don't ya?

Appreciate the concern fellas. Witnessed the whole carelessness and negligent handling take place right before my eyes. Rushed to the shop manager while he was dealing with another customer and explained to him what took place and boy was he pissed! It's all taken care of getting my new set of rims and tire along with the lifetime wheel and balancing/tire rotations that were at no extra cost to me. Should arrive by Monday. Just frustrating that it's time consuming.

Np. Pretty positive that you gotta take it apart. Had the shop do all that for me. Don't quote me on this but IIRC Thousand Oaks had an Advance package few years back and did the front and rear accent piece for a customer for a reasonable price. Wouldn't hurt to try and ask them.

Shop has to return it to the manufacturer and I'm sure they have equipment that can make it as if nothing has ever happened to it.

Would like to share this fully custom rebuilt cb750 that's finally coming to life. Used to have a 03' RC51. Came close to near death experience a few times along with slight back pain lead me to accept the facts that I'm not a spring chicken anymore sold it and ended up getting a project bike and here she is. Enjoy

Thanks for catching that BDogg. Was pretty pissed during the time and forgot to mention that I stepped on some nails most likely at the job site before this ever took place. Didn't find out until I took the car in for the tire rotation/wheel balance service the rest is history.

So far so good. Thanks for asking. Gotta order a new set of Teins and most likely all new suspension components for the front passenger it's starting to do that rusty creaky noise from running up the miles. How about your Cali edition? Any new editions or add ons lately?

That's good! your welcome man. How many miles are on your Teins? ouch, like bushings or? It good man, just did the ATF filter change to remove that "chirping" noise. and I'm hoping to get the grill done sometime soon when I have more free time. I still need to go check out that shop in Thousand Oaks.

A lil over 80k now-have close to 130k on her and still running like a beast lol Carbon suggest that it might be my struts wearing out, but that's my number one priority and concern right now is to get my suspension fixed when I get back home. Everything else is on pause including my bike projects.
Quit lagging and Getter Done!!!!

2013 accessories

Hi, I have a black 2013 TL base model with 17' inch wheels. I 'm currently for shopping for replacement tires and am thinking of putting 18. Also what are your thoughts on changing out the exhaust system, saw one with the XLR8 and looked really nice.
What are your thoughts on those 2 mods, will the xlr8 improve the performance- by how. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to Acurazine ic2013tl. You can find a lot of information on here in the 4G TL Tires, Wheels & Suspension - AcuraZine - Acura Enthusiast Community and other sections as well. If your here to ask for my opinion or advice on tires for your new setup it all depends on your budget. My best suggestion(s) is to go to this site called Tire Rack. There you'll find a lot of professional reviews along with customer reviews. It's all about what you want in a tire that'll determine everything and theres categories for that as well. My previous setup for my 18s are the Michelin Pilot sport A/S 3+ that's collecting spider webs in my garage lol Had them for 6 months before I switched to my current setup now. Like them alot. Might sell them and get some Cooper Zeon rs3-g1 since a buddy of mine has it on his 340i x drive and it's pretty damn quiet and grips like no other. XLR8 exhaust systems are nice. Very well built a lot of members have them here. Plenty of threads on that as well. Having the full exhaust system is a nice addition for our 4g but it doesn't produce that much hp and tq. Suggest you get PCD(pre cat delete system) and hfpc(high flow precats) for the best bang for your buck. Theres vendors here who can help you with that as well. I'm saving up for the pcd's and a ktuner only because it'll help with my performance.

Do you happen to have a picture that demonstrates how those black rims look on your car? I bet they look really good, but it would be nice to see, if you can post it? If that was a picture, before your first post, no worries, I totally understand. I might, however, be confused.

I really like the color of your car. What are your plans? Do you think you're going to keep it?

It's a nice car - thanks for sharing it!

On post #3 I shared a link, but guess it won't hurt if I post it on my thread as well. Appreciate the kind words Beak. They're always room for improvements on our cars and right now Im at 123k on her and i need to find time and replace my suspension components...Just not enough time for me right now have so many other projects and plus work has been unpredictable these last pass weeks. I do plan on keeping it since it does have sentimental value to me and my family so I'll pass it on to my kid (s) and let them appreciate it as well, but we'll see. Thanks for checking out my thread!!!
Front passenger shot

Fitment from a slightly lower angle (slight neg. camber 1.2/all within factory specs.)
