Of course, if there is a 3.7 RS then I stand corrected.

Also, the grill is not appreciated by many folks in the 4G world as it has the appearance of the Cadillac CTS,most will go for color matched stock grill but if you like it that is all that matters.Same applies to the wheels on your car.

I am not being critical of your car, just explaining why you are seeing the comments above. Its a forum and members will express their opinion.

At the end of the day it is your car to mod the way you like regardless of if others like it or not.

Thanks for your input, the grille came with car but thats why I liked it, I hate the beak like look of the OEM grille painted or not.
as far as the wheels I chose them because they mimcked the OEM 5-spoke SH-AWD which I previously had. As far as the RS badges I'm Just trying to be different and unique It's an SH-AWD at the end of the day but at least I made you look twice LOL, I also received many compliments on my car from complete strangers.

Nope just personal preference, I like the red accent they provide. I didn't want to pay the premium for apsec badges and they dont look THAT great. The Type-S badges would've been too obviously wrong, these badges have confused actual acura dealers. There's nothing really sporty about SH-AWD and every one who bought one has got those badges. I'm not finished with the car it's a work in progress I've barely had it a year.

Mussulz; The rims on the last pic on page 3 in my opinion are horrible looking on that TL.....that's what I meant. But keep in mind that's my opinion and count's towards nothing in the grand scheme of things.

i wouldnt say that they mimicked the oem 5 spoke 18's... the only thing they have in common is that it has 5 spokes.... just like the several other thousand 5 spoke wheels on the market.

Mussulz you're in for a world of hurt on here with that thing LOL

You can't come on a TL enthusiastic board and keep calling it an RS3.7 in all your posts unless you're covered in flame retardant.

It is an RS3.7 and I have the only one in exstience, when brabus, alpina and others rename vehicles after modding them, no one bats an eye but am I supposed to cower at a little forum few who doesn't approve of what I've chosen to call my car after modding it?

To all who would criticize my posted rim selection, you rarely have all the facts and these^^^ wheels were always intended for the car. However circumstances delayed that. Personally I like both sets of wheels, but these^^^were my first choice and had things worked out like they should, I would not have bought the other set.

the problem with your statement is that you named "companies" that build limited edition cars for auto makers and when i say build.. i mean manufacture parts to differentiate it from being just a normal oem car.. .. putting on a badge that makes absolutely no sense does not put you in the same category as mugen or spoon.... and thats why we dont bat an eye

and again.. opinions subjective.. but i think you are the only one that actually think those wheels were "intended" for the car..

First you assume thats only thing I did to the car to make it a RS3.7 pics do not tell what I have done to the engine or transmission, suspension etc.....

Secondly if nobody likes my rim choice so be it, it's not their car, FYI I don't like half the rim combos on this thread but I didn't blast anyone about it

I thought this forum had more to offer than blind criticism

This forum has a shit load to offer. At the same time there is always someone who doesn't like something on someone else's car.

The 3.7L makes sense, it's the RS that's causing the hatred. Do you.

The forum, yes much to offer, this thread not so much.
I could care less why others don't like my badging choice, it's my car and I like the way it looks with these badges, and so do a lot of others, besides if the SH-AWD emblem was soooo great, there wouldn't be so many debadged cars on this forum!

please do tell me what you have done for performance.. to make it a RS

no one said your wheels were ugly.. we just informed you that your statements of "mimicked" is very false.

and again, no one said they were ugly. its a forum.. you express your opinions.. and so do i.. dont post if you are not prepared to take criticism.

99% of us will probably not put those badges but who cares.. its your car.. but i do have the right to express my opinion.

Your money your car. I ain't seen much complaining when folks had Vossen Fever. Your set up ain't my cup of tea but you like what you like. This site does have info to help you along but you will run across the few who would hug good intel. And as for the emblem removals or rebadge statement I agree with you on that lol. I will NEVER do that, shit help breaks a lot of necks and in no way I want my ride be confused for the FWD

most people dont know that a 3.7 is awd and a 3.5 is fwd.. so most likely you will confuse them with the RS badge more than anything else.. since acura names no RS models.. LOL

Just a simple 3.7 emblem on the fender like the Q50 would be a lot cleaner.

What's the name of that fat guy who worked at the auto parts store, installed some bogus tuning chip, said his car was wicked quick, didn't want to post numbers until he posted a fake slip and then said he was keeping details to himself? Is he into badges now?

Based upon all the constructive criticism I've received from members (cough, cough haters) on my 3.7RS apparently I'm doing something right! To all who dont like my choices, GOOD then you wont be copying my style, so many rides on here are so cookie cutter with the concave 5 spoke camber setup and quad tip exhaust that everyone else can buy! I forged my own path and so far nobody here has said anything worthwhile about my ride, first one that comes out they pocket to effect a change on my car for something they dont like, will be taken seriously, the rest can keep blowing hot air on their keyboards!

Because the thought makes me giggle. I'll pay you $1 via PayPal to remove the RS emblem from your front grill.
