Was there any damage caused from removing the door guard trim? The body shop I went too wasn't thrilled about the project, they said that because the adhesive is so fresh it may damage the paint during removal.

Now I'm really intrigued, especially if I can do it myself. Do you mind sharing additional tips or technique? Were there any permanent markings left? Was it difficult to remove residual adhesive? My car is white and shows everything.

It was not hard at all just make sure you warm it up till they can shake also try to do it on a hot day. Avoid using any tool to remove the tape I just hear it up and use my finger. I had no damage but have some polish and wax on hand to use after

thanks for providing pics of the lip kit phase you went through.
I just got a 12 TL and was deciding on maybe start off with just the front lip kit and not do the rear because like you said it looks weird.
