While not taken at the same angle these two pics are for comparison

Ok guys here is the video

i am very pleased with this system, like i said it is not very loud and during normal driving all you can hear is a low rumble from the back, when you step on it the sound is almost addictive.

Thank you,i know that you are quite pleased with your system so coming from you that is a nice compliment.
The one downside is that video/audio clips does'nt do any of our systems justice, they all sound better in person.

Karkraze your ride is looking good! It will look even better with it lowered. The red tails really cleaned up the appearance of the rear.

Okay fellas i appreciate all comments on this thread, positive or negative. They help me to determine if i am on the right track or need to reassess what i am doing.
Not to speak on Pseudo's behalf but i think that he is referring to the loudness of the XLR8 system, now some people love it that way, some have sold back their systems and some have taken steps to make it more quiet.
Regardless of which system consumers purchase,if they are happy with it then they have made a good purchase,it is our variation of likes, dislikes and opinions that result in us having choices, therefore it is unlikely that there will ever be a situation where everyone will like the same thing.
Thanks again to everyone who leave a comment on my thread.

My inbox is pretty popular these days with "if I cut up my xlr8 and put those magnaflows in, will it sound better" type questions. I don't have any first hand knowledge of the xlr8 setup, only that the consensus among the serious crowd seems to be "too loud".

The vids don't do justice to any of the sounds; I'll speak from personal experience on the Comptechs from my 03 CLS6M - they just sound good at all revs.

kraze it sounds very clean.

It reminds me of the type-s sound of the 3g's

I'm sure you are happy with the out come because it sounds exactly like you wanted, very happy it turned out good for you my friend

As for the xlr8 exhaust , Its all about preference just like kraze said.

At first i thought it was too loud but after some miles on it i couldn't be happier.

I think its great that you went with something different and not ( ATLP,XLR8) because now ppl have more options with their exhaust setup.

Well said,it suits my preference very well, I can listen to the stereo on vol. 6 and hear clearly, also I never have to speak any louder than normal to have a conversation.

Thanks bro,I remember when you asked me if I was going to do the whole system I said I did not want to go from mild to wild lol.So yes it is all about preference, as the old saying goes " variety is the spice of life" hahaha.

These two pictures taken by Azine member guitarplayer16 at the Speedstar joint TL & TSX meet.
Met up with a great group of members there, the weather was perfect and was surrounded by nice looking cars.
Thanks to Speedstar for sponsoring this event.

Here is a quick video of the start up and rev in park, this was on my drive way,as soon as i get someone to drive shotgun with me i will do a soundclip while driving.

CT engineering axle back exhaust,Takeda Sri and Rv6 j pipe

Personally i wish Ct engineering had done a better job at marketing this system,it sounds great and i have had several compliments since installing it,while somewhat on the expensive side for what it is,it has certainly helped to bring out the full potential of the other mods that i did,i suspect other exhaust systems will help in that area as well.

Wow, love the sound. I've stayed away from aftermarket exhausts, but now I have to rethink that!

The trim below the trunk is the sport trim (black chrome)the shade varies depending on light condition and the angle it is viewed at.

Like you I have also stayed away from aftermarket exhaust,I personally don't like loud systems so I was very reluctant to do this mod,the j pipe and intake was enough for me.
I have no regrets atm, even though it was a risk, my best advice to anyone is not to follow an audio/video clip but try your best to get a demo ride in a car that has been changed, you may have to attend a few meets but it's worth it.
