Scroll Knob

Is it normal that when I use the heat, or when coming into a hot car during the summer months, that the scroll knob behind the "Enter" button is harder to turn? It feels like the rubber grip is rubbing something, I'm guessing its expanded when warm?

Is there any fix for this??

So I'm not crazy, lol. Have you found any remedy for this besides decreasing the interior temperature?

I am having a different type of problem with scroll knob. When I am scrolling through the music selection on my iphone, the knob and the in-dash selection screen are not in sync. When I pick a song on the screen its not the one that the phones plays. Has anyone else have this trouble?

Yup, they covered this issue for me under warranty back in 2013. They replaced either the knob or the whole unit, not sure. But they fixed the problem.
