I've got an '08 Type-S with around 92,000 miles. Just took the car to get the tires balanced and rotated, and had the suspension looked at as well since from the state inspection some months back I was told my right rear strut is leaking. Turns out it is leaking, and my tires are wearing on the inside so an alignment was suggested as well.

Is this something I should be getting taken care of ASAP, or could I let it go a little while longer? Should I get the struts on all four tires replaced at the same time, or would just the rear two be okay? And whether two or four, what's a ballpark estimate I'd be looking at to get a decent set of struts, have them installed, and get an alignment? In over 2 years of ownership all I've had to replace on this car is the battery and a couple tires, so any suggestions here would be much appreciated!

if the rear shocks are blown out as indicated by leaking, that could also cause funny alignment wear.

buy two replacement shocks for the rear, like the advice from Excelerate above, then get it aligned.

the further you let it go, the further damage can occur.
for example; if you dont find the cause of the alignment issue; you will have permanent tire wear, and will constantly buy new tires. fix the source of the problem, which I believe is the shocks and you'll stop further damage!

Thanks for the recommendation, and all the better if it's the same brand of shocks that were factory installed, as OE seems to mean. I noticed that these shocks fit many of the models of TL and Accord. The Type-S is said to have a stiffer suspension, but I'm curious if there are particular parts that give it that stiffer suspension, or if it's the same parts that are just meant to be tuned or installed differently or whatever.

Aftermarket shocks are let's say generic, and are made to fit a variety of vehicles, but the OEM Type S
springs and shocks are only for the Type S. This isn't to say they can't be fitted on a non type S, but Acura
only specs these shocks/springs for the 07/08 Type S, both 5AT and 6MT. Front the same, only Type S.

Guess what I'm trying to say, if you want the same handling/ride, factory OEM way to go as aftermarkets will
be a different feeling.
