lol, its not the upper a-arm thats bottoming out, Im not that low. its the bumpstop on the strutrod (between shock body and tophat). I could cut that, but I dont want to take the risk of bottoming out the shock as I dont plan on keeping these long.
And thanks Justin, maybe not guru, but I do know how to make a lowered car ride nice with various methods. I just wont be able to go as low I would like with these advance's and still maintain the nice cooshy ride I desire.
dont get me wrong guys, the teins are a nice product for sure. Fit perfect, installed very easily. Just bummed out they lied about the struts being shorter than the SS's. i loved my SS setup and had no complaints. only coilover Ive liked as much was the first gen Progress coilovers, but those havent been available since around 02.

I had Function & Form Type I then Kw v1 now Tein street advance... I like fnf1 but they were too soft... kw had the best ride quality but you cant adjust the dampering... I would recommend tein sa if you dont care about being slammmed...I went with tein because I live where it snow lol

It would suck to have one fail in the dead of winter- I know they can be serviced and what not, but that can mean weeks of downtime for us living in Canada.

Out of curiosity, what is the failure rate of the ISC coilovers? How many per, say, 50 sold, do you have warranty or failure claims on? These sound like they'd be a good choice, however the price suggests they're a "budget" product. Nothing wrong with that, as long as they hold up!

Also there is a great warranty: http://iscsuspension-na.com/warranty/

I'd have to ask ISC as they do all the warranties but I would estimate only a few percent. Most of the time what is perceived as a warranty issue is really an installation issue where something was tightened or adjusted properly.
Also there is a great warranty: ISC Suspension Warranty - ISC Suspension

Now I don't know if I want to go with Tein or ISC in the spring time. I really wanted to get the EDFC...
