'07 Acura TL Type S seems sluggish

For the past month or two ive noticed that my type s doesnt seem to be as quick as it used to be when i bought it about 5 months ago. I had an oil changed recently and that didnt seem to make a difference.

For example. Id be cruising at about 60-65 and if i put the pedal to the floor it would throw me back in my seat. Now it doesnt seem to do that. Unless its all in my head, i dunno.

Anybody have any ideas why it could be losing horsepower or or acting this way?

You could just be getting use to your car over time. At 65 how fast did you want to go?

agree with Andy.

you got used to the power delivery.
you're basing your claims with feelings. there isnt any hard proof that you lost power.

I know exactly what you mean man. I get that problem sometimes too as well. I evene installed a AEM V1 intake ans same thing. It's fine once it gets over 5K butunder that it's very slugglish and it's just too much power by the time you get to 5K to back off to gwt it going just to get it to drive when it's in normal working mode. I am about to istall a XLR8 J pipe in the next few weeks. We will see if that fixes the problem. I guess some Type S owners don't have the ame issues. I know I am due for a transmission change.
