Rear Shelf Vibration
Maybe I didn't search for the right words to come up with the correct answers...
My problem: In my 2006 TL, the rear shelf/rear speaker area has a very annoying vibration/rattle when the speakers are turned up or certain songs are on... I can hold the shelf down and it'll stops so I am going to assume that's the problem, but I do not really have a clue how to approach fixing it.
My brother had to take his TL to the dealership to have it "fixed" but his still does it. So, I'm not going to waste my time and bother taking it to a dealership.
Are there any write-ups/DIY's to fix this problem?
Thanks guys,
-Andy

Remove rear seat
Remove C pillar covers
Remove deck lid panel
Install some type of sound pad or cushion around the rear decklid
Install new clips
Reinstall everything.
I for one have the same issuse, and there is a TSB on this rattle.
