skd2k1's '07 Type-S progress - Updated 2/8/18
Added some led drls that stay on with the headlights and deleted the front parking lights. drls are 5500k, headlights are stock, and fogs are 3000k. Thanks to vladkarnafel for the DIY on this, which can be found here:

Wow, that looks really nice! I'm thinking about going LEDs for DRLs too.

Looks Great! I wonder how that would look with some switchbacks, pretty much just have a strip of light for your headlights having all three lights on.

I would like to swap the turn signals out for amber leds, but someone on here was saying that you can't delete the parking light on an led because it will give you the "super fast blink." Not sure though.
Thank you very much.
It has actually really helped to protect my a-spec lip, but I will probably ditch that in favor of some carbon fiber splitters in the near future.
Thanks pal, what kind of bulbs are you going with?

Here are some more shots my girlfriend did for me. The heads, fogs and drl's appear to be almost the same color in these pics, in reality the drl's are whiter than the headlights, and the headlights are whiter than the fogs.

I'm pretty sure you won't want this guy's bulbs....only due to the fact that the post is 2 years old and there are probably better bulbs out by now.
I have iJDMTOY DRLs and have been very happy with them. Whole kit is about $60 I think. Here is the DIY thread by The Machine, very easy to do following this: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/ijdmtoy-led-drl-harness-install-w-pics-853543/

wow, sorry guys, not sure how missed these posts!
originally I had some 128smd 5k I bought from ebay (the ones in the pics), but those were weak sauce. I upgraded to these from vled:

much much better bulbs!
agreed! good advice.
thanks, I need to post some updated pics at some point...as soon as I can talk my wife (the one w/the camera skills) into taking some pics.

I have those exact ones and they look sick as fuck. Pretty bright in the day time too.

I actually just put a piece of electrical tape over the parking light connector on the bulb itself. no cutting wires necessary. there's only two connectors on there, so it's either one or the other. easy process of elimination. only downside is that when you lock the car the front signals don't flash.
here's a pic with the new drls:

hey man your setup looks killer on NBP! i want to keep my DRLs on 100% of the time but i am completely helpless when it comes to understanding wiring and stuff... I want to retain the yellow light so I won't be replacing the bulb or anything. Can you please explain to me a simple way to do this since I'm not using led's?
