I noticed your splitter doesn't actually curve around the a spec lip , you can see the gap on the right side. Im asking because I tried mocking mine up the other day and was like wtf I dont think this will curve around, even with a lot of heat and molding Is yours basically just sitting there bolted in?

You're right and its due to the aggressive curves of the aspec lip. You do need to bend it to get it to fit on there. I used no heat. Make sure you use bolts, nuts, and washers, not self tapping screws like people say. I ripped mine out like that. From most angles, you don't see the gap.

^^^^ This might be a stupid question, but why are you holding your steering wheel outside the TL?

Call me old fashioned, but I always leave mine hooked up to the car.....LOL

Haha people with quick release steering wheel hubs can detach their steering wheel within a couple seconds. But the one I'm holding out the window is just from a racing simulator. What's funny is that i just drove a good 15 miles while hanging it out the window and everyone was so confused. When in reality I had the real one still on

Reminds me of this one time...when I used to need to lock my glove box at my then gf's apartment, and I'd be super slick cool guy and do it while driving, pop key out, lock, pop it back in and pop it into gear to start the car back up while rolling...

well, this one time the wheel locked and it almost fucked me up!

Dude, I got your FB message and I can't think of where I have pictures of it...

but basically I took some steel from work junk...cut it into 3 longer pieces...then cut little channels the width of a hose clamp (lengthwise) so it wouldn't move...then wrapped the front lowest part of the jpipe and the 2 flex sections...kept it intact for years.

Have a few updates with my car. I changed the grille back to the silver outline. Painted my engine cover and brake calipers (again). I don't have a picture of the calipers but its the same as the engine cover. I tinted my clear taillights red so they look like the super reds. I also removed my front license plate for Spocom SF but I will probably put it back on soon. Also dapper sticker on the fender may go too soon. I've had it on for a couple days because my friend gave it to me but I'm still iffy about it. Also, took the STi splitter off, gave it to my friend and we fit it onto his Lancer, but he scraped it off and ran over it.. Lol

Thanks. Im about 23.5 front and 24 rear. Just be careful with it and use proper hardware, bolts, nuts, and washers, not self tapping screws or it will come off

Thank you. Honestly it gets tiring but I made the mistake of going 17s and it still looks like I have wheel gap so if I raise it (which I really want to do) it'll just look off

I actually messed up big time. I was clear coating my headlights and the wind ripped the masking off my car and blew it onto the headlight so I had to sand it all down and it completely ruined the finish. So that is the best it'll be

Really falling in love with this car again. Also, since the weather here in CA is cooling down, I removed the air dam under the bumper and it feels so good not scraping on every little imperfection. As the weather gets hot again I will buy another one because this one cracked in half a while back from bottoming out too.

I honestly don't have much left I can do to the car at this point without breaking the bank so I just paint em often to have subtle changes here and there. I will keep this one a while though because I love it the a lot more than the blue.

Dude compared to stop tech.. These have literally no dust at all. After 50 miles of the stop tech my front and rear wheels were different colors. I got Akebonos because a long time on the Uasquad page you recommended them to someone and I trust your opinion so I went for them.

The rotors were off of partsgeek.com and I got the pads off of Amazon. I'd give you part numbers but mine were for the brembo up front and I don't know if you have brembos or not
