Talking

Hey whats up everyone. Just got my first 06 TL on Tuesday. I'm happy to be able to finally join in the community. Shes stock so I haven't done anything yet but I sure plan to. This is my first pic of her. Will post some more soon as she is very clean in and out. Looking forward to customizing her. BTW not even two days later and someone stole my temp tags. At least they could have left the screws haha. Lets see how many times I get stopped.

I have no clue. I didn't know that was a thing until I started asking about it. Apparently popular with stolen cars.

And thanks.

I have no idea where to start with her so suggestions are welcome

I was thinking fraud/stolen car...
here in Texas, we have lots of ATM machines being stolen from gas stations...
steal a truck, steal some plates..crash into store.. take ATM.
obviously, your temp tag is for a silver acura.... but still, i'd be worried. lol

mods are personal.
plus, i would start off with maintenance...as ALL cars need maintenance...
then, once you're comfortable with the car you can start adding stuff that you might think needs improvement!
thats the proper way to mod!! mod because you want to improve something.

dont mod just to mod...
lets say, the stereo is lacking...you might add some subwoofers...
let's say, you notice car isnt getting traction well enough...buy some new tires.
let's say, you want the car to oversteer, grab a thicker rear sway bar...
you gotta find stuff that YOU want to improve, as modding is VERY personal.

That can be the only logical explanation, if you will lol

That makes complete sense. Maintenance is number 1 on the list need to get it to my level of OCD haha. Thanks for the input.

how many miles on her?
has the timing belt+ water pump been changed?
spark plugs?

I then would change out all fluids to be safe!
change out coolant, change out oil, change out brake fluid, change out transmission fluid.

check and inspect braking components!
check and inspect front end suspension..bushings, shocks, etc..

replace if necessary

So its been about a month haven't done too much other than maintenance. But I did manage to change some aesthetic aspects of the car. First I got some tints on her, then dipped part of the grille and changed the back up lights to LED. Here are some photos. Prep is so tedious and I learned that regardless plasti dip gets everywhere especially on a windy day and I was in the garage. Again nothing major but some nice details.

Looks good-it's the attention to the small details that makes a big difference.

you might as well and go ahead and that the Aspec Kit my friend. TL looks to be in good shape for mileage. Good job handling the maintenance up front too

Endlessrpm is about the last place I know where you can order them from. Runs about $900 shipped for all pieces. Only downside is only certain colors are offered so you may need to get them painted if they don't have them in your color.
