Right, I'm so used to clearing the curbs I'm probably gonna smash the front lip once the coils go in!

You need to install a curb alert system.

Ok so Richie sent a teaser pic of the j pipe. This is the original j pipe that's been in the car for almost a year and over 10k miles. Richie did a quick polish to bring back the shine. Awesome job
This was done primarily to help reduce the chance of bottoming out after the coils are installed. Eliminates the large flange that was there.
Should be here by the weekend and if that happens we're going to install the coils.

I'll try to do another one soon. No promises though, I suck at videos.

Quick update - car's been in the shop for a couple of weeks, we ran into 3 bolts in the rear suspension that were rusted to the arms and just were not coming off so we had to cut them and order new bolts.
Meanwhile we got the X merge on. Before and after pics:
Excellent job on RV6's part with the packaging and included new gaskets - you guys rock thanks RV6!
Caught a quick video of the exhaust note after the X merge. Sounds much better in person vs the cell phone:
And look what was at the shop when I dropped the car off

That's actually the backlot, used only by the shops back there, not a public parking lot, forgot to mention that.

Man I took another look through the thread and this is just such a damn nice TL-S. Might be one of my favorites. I really want to see some tasteful lightweight wheels on her

Getting 4 wheel alignment now car is much tighter no more float and squat on WOT is like 95% gone just perfect.
22 clicks from soft up front and 20 in the rear. I think I need to soften it couple of clicks it's just a little bouncy but liking the coils so far
I also replaced all new arms / links and bushings. It needed it.

All done, alignment is good. Just need to tweak the dampening now, but my battery is dead, so down for a few days.
It's about 24 3/4" off the ground in the front and 25" at the rear. Handling is fantastic!
Pics:
Also painted the power steering reservoir to match the engine color scheme

Thx! Comments I've read here about how Tein adjusts the height vs ISC (ISC apparently doing it the right way), and reviews in general. The XLR8 sale didn't hurt either.
Handles great, corners flat, no more squatting on WOT or diving when braking, and car feels more planted on the highway, the floating is gone.
I wonder why the battery died out though. Car sat for 3 weeks so it drained, but I charged it and it still doesn't start the car without a jump. 1 year old. I thought these AGMs were good for at least ~2 years?

Where did you buy the battery?
Usually places like Advance auto have at least a 2 yr warranty/(3 year on AGM) on them so if I were you id carry it in to get the battery tested and a free replacement

great on the drop, I like the set up you having, its aggressive enough for grip the road but not too much where you will smash your Aspec lip.

It was working fine, not sure why the discharge damaged it. Charger showed 10% when it started, so it still had a little juice. Lights doors alarm etc all worked, just not enough to crank it over. Voltmeter showed 12.4v after charging, and the manual of the charger shows this value means it needs charging, so something is up, since it charged to 100%. I think a 12.8v reading and above is what I'm looking for per the chargers manual. Initial battery quality check paper shows 13.8v at the factory.
New battery coming in Wednesday so at least I get back in the car now. If they replace the bad battery I'll either keep it as a spare or sell it off to recoup the one I just paid for.
My buddy took me for a quick drive in the NSX - my first time in one. This was a mistake, I want one! Showed me how bad we need wider tires after upping the hp. The NSX hooks up in 1st gear and damn I miss 1st gear. Anything over ~2/3s throttle in my car in 1st gear and it breaks traction.

^^^ Not a bad idea, but you can't go wrong with OEM Type S wheels.

Yeah I thought about that. I never use the voice commands or blue tooth, so I do plan on unpluging it this weekend. The car has sat for up to one week no problem though, so it seems my HFL is still good, but I'll likely just unplug it anyway.
Already have a new battery, and this one cranks over very fast, like the OEM did. The 1st Braille battery, the one that just died, always cranked over very slow.
I talked to Braille and they said these batteries get damaged easily by jumping the car, which we did 3-4 times, as well as using the alternator to charge them outside of normal use. So if you let them drain, you need to pull them out and use a slow 2ah charger.

Thx bud I think I agree, I like the drop. So far I've cleared all the local speed bumps and gas station ramps, and most concrete tire stops when parking. I've only scrapped the front air dam once coming out of a gas station.
Gonna keep an eye on it in case the springs settle after it breaks in and drops a little, but my tires are also getting bald so new tires should raise the car up a good 1/4" I think?
I plan to soften the dampening next week to get rid of the slight bounce. Luv the handling so far.

As soon as its above 0 my Tein SAs are going on. Having coilovers sitting in my basement for more than 5 months without putting them on is just brutal.
