J how's the vibration with the a/c on, and did the new inserts get rid of that shaking during acceleration?

Check all your bushings, compliance etc, engine torque damper too but yea could be a cv joint

I may just have Conrad diagnose and address it when I finally decide what I'm gonna do. I think I've settled on keeping the engine mounts since the vibration ain't bad and it's nice to know they'll never go...
but I want him to drive and feel the clutch and that shimmy and tell me what he thinks. I really don't think the compliance bushings could be it, but I'll give them another look...I replaced them on my black car and it did nothing.

Small update, finally replaced the motor mounts and wrapped the HFPCs in titanium wrap. Had to wait for new engine to mount brackets to come in, as both bolts were bent. All good now.

How are the mounts performing so far?
I'm in need of new mounts and debating oem or stiffer mounts. I think my trans mount or another engine mount shit the bed and is causing lots of vibrations making shifting a bit awkward with the weight shift of the engine on/off throttle...

So far so good. I already had 75a's from xlr8 so stiffness is the same they're just more robust, no gap between each end like the xlr8 ones. Hopefully the wrap helps protect them from the heat.

Looking great, Ivo...
I can't wait for you to see the blue car again...she was lookin rough last time you saw it!
I need an alignment...and a new passenger side axle and I'm happy. I've grown accustomed and to love the stage 3 clutch too.
Funny, you asked for my recommendation, and I ended up NOT wrapping my HFPC...it just seemed like the wrap was falling off the design. I lost some top end grunt...but worth it to lose the rasp I had. It was bad.

Thx J we def need a photo shoot of the 2 cars together. I don't have a camera so I always get lazy and just take driveway pics
Hopefully the wraps stay put. Fingers crossed.
Get a hondata to regain that grunt back

Dumb questions for those tuned or who know the answers:
I don't think I'll have the chance to do a before and after dyno is it critical to do a before dyno or is this just to measure the gains?
What gear do you run on the dyno? I figure either 3rd or 4th?

Dyno is not required. Although it would be nice to see how it changes your curves. It's more about how and where it applies the power not total power gained.
Also fourth.

Originally I was looking forward to a tune for a few more hp but now I think I'm more excited about just having the car running right all the time. I can feel the stock ecu pull back the timing all the time and I'm pretty sure the a/f isn't where it should be.
