Damn i always thought that much carbon fiber would look over done but DAMN! That looks hot! What did you use to wrap the parts?

I would do the gauge cluster also, i think it would finish out the look. And your plans for the A-Pillars? I am making a dual gauge cluster for mine... i am trying to figure out if i should wrap mine in CF or black leather.

yeah, some people were saying it was gonna be too much. i knew it would look decent. i wouldnt have done it otherwise. CF the glovebox gauges? thats a thought.

A-pillar driver side is reserved for this

OK....Jaime-the question on my mind is this....

......what's next? Are you done?

Plus, you might have gotten bored, but your car is extra special because now you're doing the REAL carbon fiber, not imitation!

the trunk will stay the same, unless i decide to re-design it and you dont need a second car to do something like this. i was driving the whip like this with all kinds of parts missing

20-30 min tops, you will need a steering wheel puller tool. its a snap i could probably do it in 10 min if i tried.

here you go all you V1 owners its the VEI V1 remote display. not sure why no one here has ever got it. its pretty cool. it has no arrows or writing on it but indicators which is pretty much the same. i never owned a V1 so i'll learn it by site pretty easy. for me i'd sacrifice the writing and the arrows for something tight and clean like this. for all you with blue interior they offer it in blue lit led's

i was gonna do the same but with the V1 hidden display, was gonna hack-it up and use a sacrificial gauge, but i got this instead.

Not hating, but a real CF part would not be the stock part covered in CF weave. Your work looks really great, but there is no weight savings here, it is just for appearance. Again, the appearance of the parts is really good.

DING! DING! you got it! no reason to make real CF mold. i stated in my other thread these were only cosmetic. the car weighs 3,500lbs + and the parts weigh nothing. if the parts weighed hundreds of pounds id make 100% CF parts, but theres no point. maybe i should have Di-Noc'd the parts with "real" vinyl JK, not "knockin-it" no pun intended.....di-noc looks good i rocked it for a while. it just got boring to me. i wanted a challenge.

I have to say your WDP is inspirational.
Your taste in mod's are clean and accentuate the natural beauty of WDP's.

Definitely going to be looking at doing some work on my engine bay after how well yours has turned out.

thanks man. i try to keep things clean and simple. modded but OEM'ish. try to make things look as if they were supposed to be there rather than just slap things on.

the engine bay was fun. just plan things out and think things through.but most important.....be original
