Thanks! I need 255's, these 245's are a bit stretched so next set I will go a bit wider.

Edited a video with a couple pulls with GoPro on the bumper, from the rear and also from inside windows rolled up.

I am noticing a whistling sound at certain points, not sure if its the design of the tips or a leak in the part where the tips meet the muffle..

Anyone had this happen before?

Thanks!

I like how the tips came out but they whistle! Sounds funny but still growls. Yes the mufflers are 11365

Been debating for a while if I would trade the car in but decided to keep it, hence the exhaust completion recently..

Have always bitched about the audio being so outdated. I loved how it sounded although it was OEM but it didn't have all the nice amenities newer cars are bringing that integrate your smartphone into the radio. Plus my HFL died not long ago. So I read a bit and pinged Jeremy aka rockstar143 to pick his brain a bit about options and decided going this route.

Pioneer AVH-4100NEX Head Unit
Foztech Install Kit with Steering Wheel controls
Backup Camera
Wireless Camera Connector

Will be doing the second USB connection in a couple weeks to be able to do mirroring and use Netflix and Hulu on it. Also need to bypass the emergency cable.

In the near future I will install some Focal Speaker and a Sub in the trunk to complete, but this will suffice for now.

Flawless, over a week and everything working as expected..

Just got in the rest of the cables I needed to complete the mirroring and to trick it to think the parking brake is on..

Will tackle this weekend, will be able to have Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go and anything streaming on there!

I went with the Fostech bezel myself, and the ASWC1. That was the easiest part of my install , everything else ended up taking forever. I was considering the NEX as well since I'm a heavy android user but decided to just go the Nexus 7 route (and I'm not even bothering to integrate mine in the dash at this point) and picked up a DEH 80 PRS so that I could run active front end.

It was pretty straightforward but I'm the type of guy that measures twice and cuts once.. So I read and re read the instructions and wired temporarily each cable first and then soldered..

I started around 10am and probably wrapped up at 8pm with many breaks during the day.. Just was patient since I knew it was going to take some time..

I considered the tablet for a while nut desisted because of the fabrication for the dash. I read about the Foztech kit, shot them a couple emails and saw their responses and follow up was good so pulled the trigger..

Glad I did and everything worked as expected.

Tomorrow I will connect the rest of things and then later on I will install some speakers but for now I am extremely happy.. Went to Daytona last weekend for the Rolex 24 Hrs and the drive was great with this new radio on there..

Pulled out all again to finalize the install! Now I have full mirroring to do streaming on road trips

Now I need to learn all details on the radio since it has many setup options but I have not read all about it yet..

Haven't been around in a while, might as well update this a bit..

TL was sold about 3 weeks ago.. buddy from PR came over bought it and shipped it back to Puerto Rico.. was a great 7 almost 8 years with the car..

Also sold the track car which got totaled after probably 4 weeks in the new owners hands..

Last pic taken with me at the wheel, driving it to the new owners house..

5 weeks after that someone messaging me thru my Race Team's FB page asking details on the car, thought it was because they raced it and got beat and it was actually the person who bought the swap wanting to know more details..

Painful but I was able to dry my tears with the money I got $ which was exactly what I would have let it go for.. \o/

The Acura was shipped thru Crowley up in Jacksonville..

Last pic I took of it..

Already being tagged by friends who are spotting it back on the Island xD

Random Pic of my girl

I'm now officially a Ford Guy

So fast forward a couple months and many things have changed in my Garage..

The Ford Ranger only lasted about a month.. totaled but everyone OK..

I ended up buying my parents 2000 CRV which I put the old TL rims on..

I love old school Honda's so I came across this nice piece and ended picking it up also.. 1985 CRX SI.. in immaculate condition with some nice mods to suspension and drive-train.

I also picked up a 1991 CRX Si which is currently at the body shop being completely painted.. I should get it back in a week or two..

What I have really been waiting for since April has been this new toy.. and I finally got it delivered on September 9th!

Did a Performance Delivery so I was fully pampered by BMW up in South Carolina.. have many pics and videos needed editing..

The way the setup the car for the presentation is truly something special.. Picking up one of these cars at the dealers is special just because they are hard to get, but having it delivered this way is just icing on the cake..

I am sorry to say, I no longer miss my 2008 Acura TL..

I hope to do a shoot with both CRXs together, should come out nice!

Wheels on the M2 are love/hate for many people. I love the look on them but they need a 10mm spacer to fill the wheel arch.. I am looking into lowering it soon and will probably run the spacers..

Color is Long Beach Blue..

I need to get this done in my car. But the local audio shop basically said they can't do it as they dont have a dash kit for these TL's ??!! WTF.

When you get the time can you shoot me some links to what you bought ?

Thanks in advance

Pretty much, I got the Krank kit a few years back as well. And got the Axxess ASWC-1 steering wheel control separately at a later time. Installation is pretty straight forward especially if you had prior experience. If you have Navi remember to install a 68 ohm resistor on Pin# 13 & 26 on the 26 pin grey plug from the back of the radio.

You can refer to this thread if you need some help as I did: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-a...io-car-866385/

Sorry I didn't answer quicker.. But it is straight forward!

I got their kit with the steering wheel harness also. During the install had some questions and was able to text them directly. Their support after purchasing from them is as good as their products!
