I've had blackvue dr400hd since my CL got wracked last year. It's been sitting in my room. I've been thinking getting another blackbox cam and use for front and rear.
Blackvue dr500,ITB 100 and Finevu cr500. These 3 were on my list.
I searched and watched youtube videos of these cams(especially at night time) and I decided to try finevu cr500. I personally think cr500 has good video quality at night. I was doing back and forth between dr500 and cr500. and I chose cr500.
I like the options of emergency recording and taking pic when I want to. I also like cam adjustment. I can adjust or turn 360° on finevu cr500. If I get hit on side I can just turn camera and keep recording. I think that's a good thing. I love it so far! I'm still playing with setting on cr500.

You still have dr400 Morgan? I remember you had one in your cl.

Sorry I will upload videos later. All my videos has music so I want to remove sound before I upload them.
On the other hand, I did some work done on my TL.

I repainted front calipers and painted rear brembo cover and installed them.
I also finally put RS on my TL!!

The Brembos look GREAT. I ordered the same set of rear covers (I think). Did you drill to mount them on? or did you just use RTV?

I made little bracket and jb welded to caliper cover.
I think I bought these things for some project long time ago, but didn't use them. So used these for mounting cover to caliper bracket. Its really tight and secure. It's not gonna fall a part.
Here are some pics. Don't mind other little bracket in the center. That was original plan, but failed. So I tried other way. This works great! I hope this help.

Thanks! Dang..never thought of doing that...that's so smart! I actually ordered and tried to install another pair of the rear caliper covers (not the one-piston ones, unfortunately). I couldn't get the RTV to stick even when holding it in place for over 10 minutes, and eventually gave up. THEN, I accidentally got brake cleaner fluid onto the plastic cover which instantly destroyed the red paint. So...I re-ordered some single-piston ones like yours for $10 and I'm hoping to get them on soon.

Just wondering - do you remember exactly where you got those brackets from? I can't find it on Lowes/Home Depot and I figure I can't go wrong if I just copy your masterful work...hahaha. Also, did you use the regular JB Weld or the KWIK one? Thanks again, TL's looking fantastic

Thanks guys!!
Here's what I did

First, I test fitted that little bracket on center of caliper bracket. That little bracket opening was really tight. I had to open up more with plier. I left cover bracket on caliper bracket.
Then I test fitted caliper cover. Make it centered and I checked the spot that contact bracket and inside of cover. I used flash light for this. Cause it was hard to see without flash light.
Then I removed cover.
I applied dab of epoxy(5min one) on the bracket where it contact on cover.
Then, i put cover on. I made sure its in center and held it with my hand for 3 to 5min. Now cover attached to that bracket.
This is pic after I applied dab of epoxy. Sorry, pic isn't clear.

After that, I removed cover. You have to be careful when you remove it. Do not pull just cover. You'll break caliper cover out from bracket. I used long 90degree pick and tried to release cover bracket from caliper bracket while gently pulling cover with other hand. It didn't get release easy, but it will eventually. Just take time and be careful.
After I removed cover, I applied regular JB weld to make them securely tight.
Do not apply on the spots where it contact on caliper bracket.
I left them for 24 hours after applied JB weld.
Then I installed them. That cover bracket tension was still pretty tight so I had to be careful while installing.
That's about it.

Lastly, I don't remember where I got those brackets from. It was few years back. Just give me a day. I'll check and let you guys know.

Read thru that a few times, and it seems like a pretty great idea!

If I have this right, basically, you are ensuring the proper spot to use JB Weld to secure the cover brackets (small brackets you had) to the caliper cover, and then the caliper cover is simply is held to the caliper by the tension of the attached bracket?

Yeah everything you said is right. Was it hard to understand? Sorry my english isn't perfect like native. Lol
By the way, caliper cover is simply held to the caliper bracket.
Like I mentioned, those little things have really strong tension. You can't bend it with your finger. I had to use tool.

Oh really? What do you drive?
My CL had 3 different tags. First one was RVO VOM. Second one was IWANT1 and last one was BACKOFF. I transfered that last one to TL.
