Wow, I gotta know more about that mirror. Is there a company that does the integration and sells the whole mirror, or did you hack it yourself?

i just joined...i guess i cant post pics yet but i used to have an anthracite cl-s 6 sp...i have a son now and neede something with 4 doors and still haul ass if needed so i got a 08 tl-s...i will post pics soon!im glad to see alot of ack owners like my self here!

The V1 integrated mirror looks good. I was looking at that when I got my V1, but opted for the VEI pillar gauge display. I figured it was more in line with my line of sight. I also have my mute and volum button in that area but relocated the speaker. the actual V1 unit is mounted in my custom rear deck panel.

Thanks. Your v1 set up sounds interesting. Can i see pics? I heard you lose ability to detect laser, if you mount unit on rear deck. Do you? I mounted main unit inside of map and homelink unit in my CL. I don't wanna do that in TL. I gotta find spot.

For that drive by wire throttle, i felt little weird when i did testdrive TLs. It just didn't feel like my CL. I don't know how to decribe this, but it feels weird. I don't think its Ghey, even if i still feel little weird. It doesn't bother me though. I know i'll get used to it.
I like both car's exterior and interior. CL is 03 and TL is 07. There must be differences between two. TL's interior is really nice IMO.I like that TLs comes with every options as standard. I love it! CL's interior is simple look which i like too. For the exterior, I think TL is one of best looking 4 door sedan out there.
I like that agressive look. I've always loved 3G TL.
On the other hand, CL has little femine look IMO. especially rear end which i like too. One of the big reason that i loved my CL was its rareness. You don't see Cls many on road especially 6spd. You see Tl everywhere.
Everyone has different opinion and thought. It's really hard to say which one is better car for me. There should be good or bad things on both cars. I love both CL and TL. and I'm really really happy i got TLs.

radar/laser detector manufacturers usually say mount it in the center of the windshield. if you stand behind your car and get eye level with your rear deck surface you'll see that it lies damn smack in the middle of your windshield. thats why i chose that spot. i dont use the sub since i got a system in my car. i removed the deck created a home for the V1 and re-wrapped it. here are some pics of what i did. sorry dont mean to thread jack but ive got tons of pics! lol!
on/off /vol/mute/control knob
relocated mini speaker
VEI display in the A-pillar displays all the functions of the V1
again dont mean to thread jack
there's absolutely no room in the dome area. even if you take the V1 apart. dont be a psycho like me just slap some velcro and stick it on your dash! lol! one of many boxes im sure you'll receive. and the mods continue...........keep us posted

cool...what do i win? you definitely don't mess around with mods since you've bought this car. its taken me forever to do the mods i have on my own car ( had a little hiatus...then i started frequenting AZ more...nothing but trouble
).i like where you are going with the type-s. will definitely have to see your ride in person sometime since you're local.

Your CL was dope. Too bad it all went down like that but I'm sure you're enjoying the upgrade. There's a pretty huge jump in terms of comfort, technology and design from the 2nd gen TL/CL to the 3rd gen TL. Were those RL brakes on your CL? Also, are you planning on putting the Advans on the TL? Those are one of my all time favorite wheels. Congrats on the purchase BTW. When I bought my RL I was considering a 6-speed TL-S but we already had one TL and I wanted SH-AWD.

oh i'm not in MD....i'm on the other side of the river....i dabble over in MoCo. during the summer for training rides.

Thanks guys. Yeah as soon as weather gets warm Advans will be on TL. So far, i have parts in my trunk waiting for getting installed.
KT window mudule,shock sensor,3rd brake light flasher,supercomputer's illuminated door sill,AEM V2,cree led reverse bulbs. I'll be order pulley,RV6 strut bar,Jpipe and pcd or Hpc soon. I was thinking ATLP v2roof spoiler, but its too big for me. So i decided not to. I really wanna lower my car, but i hav to wait for this and exhaust... No choice. Damn... Oh i still gotta debage on trunk. And repaint front caliper. Cause clearcoat is pealing off pretty bad. Oh yeah! I installed A-spec kit last Sunday!!! That looks good!

What's up guys! I haven't been here for awhile. I still enjoy driving my TL.
I haven't done any major things on it though. Just cosmetic things. I got coilover waiting to be installed. I'll do it this week. I can't wait!!!
A-spec kit installed w/Nokia yellow DRL bulbs.
Supercomputer door sills installed.
CT ss,Hybrid shifter bushing and M1 Abram knob installed. I love this set up!
shock sensor installed.

Thanks a lot!
Paint looks good in pics,but you can see swirls under the sun. I have to get rid of those swirls and fine scratches. It's bothering me...
For the shock sensor, i installed it right after i bought TL. and yep works really good!!!Alarm going off everytime i shut trunk when car is in locked. Now i don't shut it hard anymore.
For the rims, They are not aggressive at all. RS is 8" offset 37 and RZ is 9" offset 45
Both clears Brembo.
I kinda like flasher, but who knows I might take it out later.
