I ran an Ebay business for 3 years and saved the majority of the money I made, I play tennis in college, and I used tennis to pay for the majority of the car. I'm a certified tennis teaching pro, which means I have been giving tennis lessons for the last two years and making around $25 for an hours work after taxes. However, you know this is a 35K car, and I could never book enough tennis lessons to pay for that, so my parents pitched in the 10k I was short for the purchase as a graduation present and my mother will be driving it and "keeping it safe" while I'm in college up in Oregon.
