And if you're looking for simple mods you can do on a budget, look into rdx caliper covers and hidden windshield wipers. Simple as hell and they don't cost much.

When you order it, would you mind posting the eBay listing here as well as pics of the end results? I'm actually looking for that exact thing :P

I'll definitely look into the caliper covers - something to made them stand out without just painting them. The Brembo calipers on the type S are legit The hidden wipers is new to me, I'll have to look that up too.

It's been in the mid-90's this week where I am. Opposite end of the spectrum for me - nothing sticks in this weather cuz it's so damn hot!

The wiper mod is simply using a pair of 2012+ accord blades while rotating our stock wiper arms 1 or 2 notches down. The accord blades are mounted from the side on the arms while the OEM TL blades are mounted vertically.
The result is a pair of low profile blades that are practically 100% hidden from your view. A lot cleaner than stock.
You also have the added benefit of only having to change the rubber part of the blade instead of the whole blade when they're worn out. It cost under 15$ for a pair of rubber inserts so the mod pays for itself in the long run.

It's funny cuz my wife always complains about the weather out here but she was born and raised here. So she doesn't know what it's really like to have extremely cold winters or constant rain, or blizzards or hurricanes or tornadoes or earthquakes or floods lol. She's always talking about moving away but I keep saying, it just doesn't get better than this.

This wiper mod actually reminds me of a mod I did on my old civic. I custom fit a pair of washer nozzles from a 2009 Honda pilot. Every time I hit the washer switch it was like powerwashing the windshield!

Thanks Steven, I try to keep it as clean as possible. Those engine covers look nice in that pic but they are a pain, they're so dried out and faded and everytime I pull them up one of the tabs or clips break. I've considered replacing them but can't seem to find any practical reasoning for spending the money on it.

Yea, they can be a pain, but it's worth it.

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!
EddieOnAZ - My front bumper decals came in the mail today, I will install them tomorrow! I will post pics and a link to the eBay listing too. They were 9.99 and the seller sends two decals in case of installation mistakes. They can also make different colors, tho I can't imagine any color other than black would look good.

Well the decal is on, it's not a perfect fit - you get what you pay for of course. It's not too bad, but the letters are cut straight, not rounded like the indentation is and I don't like that. the decals do have some stretchability which makes up for some of the imperfection in sizing though.

Yeah a lot of that was already there when I bought the car so I havent taken a lot of care to prevent it from getting worse. Theres also a lot of bugs from recent driving which make it look worse. The TL is the designated driver for road trips, so it gets a lot of interstate miles and a lot of interstate insects.

Well to be honest, most of the "progress" here is simply history being told lol. The wheels did get sold pretty quickly and my next intention at the time was to find a set of black wheels, but I noticed the tires on those original 20" wheels were starting to come apart. All four tires sidewalls were splitting like crazy. So I was under pressure to find something else quick because I definitely wasn't going to pay for a set of 20" tires when I was planning for a set of 18 or 19" rims.
So I found this set for $350 with tires. Trivia question! Who knows what car these are from??

@ Aboysua6 - yep you got it! Those wheels are the Ralliart wheels from a Mitsubishi Lancer.
@ Steven Bell - thanks, I was trying to be as meticulous as I could. I probably spent about 25 minutes on those 5 little letters!
@ Oh Sickest TL - do you have any plans for protecting the new paint job on your front bumper when it's done?

any tips on applying the letters? I'm gonna get the carbon fibre ones

With installing the letters of course make sure to clean the surface with alcohol really well. I guess my only real tip is to start with the letter U and then the C, and save the R for last. The U is a lot more simple and itll give you some practice handling the decals and understanding tolerances and adjustability etc.

Yeah I really like the Inspire fogs, I feel like they match all the other lights a lot more. Not sure why Acura put the oval ones down there. Swing and a miss IMO. If i didn't already have fogs I would definitely be picking up a set of the Inspires!

While we're on the topic of fog lights, what do you think about adding these to the fog light covers? They're not officially installed yet so they still need a little adjustment, this is just a test-fit.
