Navi to non-navi

Im buying a 2007 tl and i wanted to know if its possible to chance the navi system to a non nav system since i will be replacing the radio and the navi unit wont work? Some help please!

Absolutely. If it were possible I'd trade you my 08 non-Navi setup for your Navi (including all wiring swap). But seeing how that is not practical I'd recommend to you searching for threads of guys moving to Navi and then reverse the directions. You would need to craigslist/junkyard search for your parts. I'm quite certain it will be a cheaper path for you than it would be for me. I have found that oemacuraparts.com has a comprehensive website for all your parts (and part number) hunting needs when you need something new/OEM. For me they are just across town (Phoenix area) but recommend them for sourcing parts you may not find at a junkyard to complete your project.

I am about to do this very thing to my 06. Navi doesn't work in Hawaii, so its doing me no good. Going to remove stock head unit, swap screen for nexus and install aftermarket amps and speakers. In for a fight, but ive got the time and funds.
