HFL units

so of course my HFL unit has failed, dealer wanted 550-600 to replace(granted, they did 2200 worth of work for $200, thanks warranty!!)

so my question is, if i find a module, numbers matching, can i swap without having to have it programmed? or am i still paying for a program? im pretty sure my phone isnt gonna connect to it anyways, just trying to keep all my systems working in case i need to sell or trade in my car.

car is 06 base 3g

It's a direct swap, remove old HFL unit, install new one

No programming needed

It's a very simple repair to do yourself - I did it a few years back for just under $200.
