Crystal Black Pearl RLX Sport Hybrid pics
We all know what a CBP RLX looks like already so I won't go overboard with pictures.
With my CTS-V wagon in the background. S2000 is offsite in winter storage.
Looking good in black
Rear 3/4
Shiny after some early winter Zaino....
Because that blue "SH" really tells people what's going on with this car, LOL!
I need to add a shot of the rear lights. They are truly remarkable in the dark. They look great when on!
The rear lights are not as intricate as those of the 2G RL. The 2G RL rear lights were just beautiful works of art inside. These, not so much, but again, they are gorgeous when lit.
My favorite picture of the front of the car. Looks awesome in black, once again.
Passenger side view mirror detail
Camera for LKAS
Projector location for HUD
Side-on view

Beautiful car.
LOVE THE CTS-V wagon. I really want one. So hard to find in manual.
Any more wagon pics?

I'll try to dig some up when I'm not on my phone. Only around 500 6MT V wagons extant. That was a driving factor in my procuring the RLX--I wanted a car I could drive in the winter and not worry about rust. The V wagon comes out on non-snowy winter days, though. It is no garage queen at 30k miles in 2 years. That honor goes to my low-mileage S2000, with 30k miles in 12 years.

I shopped CTS-V a ton when I was looking, just couldn't find a used one with a manual trans.
My TSX replacement will def be a CTS-V Wagon MT or a E63 AMG Estate. Need more power

It was available as an accessory for the 2014 model year, but I do not see it in the new accessory catalogue.

It's standard on the 2015 model

You guys have serious cojones driving black cars in winter states.
I lived in MA/RI during residency, and couldn't believe how hard it is to keep clean cars in the winter (had a Toyota MR2 then)

It isn't that bad if you stay on top of it. I'm so over the top it looks better now then the day I picked it up. You have to know what you are doing or you can mess it up in a hurry. If you can keep a black car looking pristine with no swirl marks of any kind, that is the sign of a pro. I have learned from the best, but my talents are nothing compared to him. He taught me how to evaluate reflections and adapt to orange peel in modern paint jobs and "feel" the paint to know how far I need to go without going too far when polishing. I refuse to use a machine and do everything by hand. You might be surprised how much of an upper body workout you can get doing it this way.

I do every thing by hand as well. Owned two black cars in my life 1991 CRX Si and a 1991 Integra RS. Swore never again.
I am super OCD< and do quick detail after EVERY drive in any of my cars. Like you guys, my stuff looks better than the day it came from dealership
HOWEVER, when I lived in the NE, I would clean the car, park it outside for 30 hour shift at hospital, come back to snow etc, and grime by the time I got home. Literally had to wash cars every few days.
I really believe water isn't good for paint, and don't wash my cars here in LA 15-24 months at a time. With Quick detail cars here stay pristine
Much props to you winter/dark color car people

Black Wax
Here are some older pictures of my CBP 2014 RLX. I just bought Meguiar's Black Wax & plan to use it this weekend. Iif it makes my car as shiny as it claims, I will update with some new pictures.
Now that I can tell the difference in paints (metallics vs pearls) I am really starting to appreciate Acura's black pearl colors. However, I do wish that they would make a black metallic just to switch it up.

Requoting my 3/4 view from a post above.
It's my new favorite view of the RLX. I know many think this car is lacking in style, but it's really grown on me. I was sitting next to the car, in my driveway last night, and just appreciating the view. Love it from this angle. this car. My Legend badge is coming from Japan in the next couple of weeks and the Nerdmobile (as I call my Sport Hybrid) will soon no longer be "RLX".....it will be a Legend.

You're just putting a Legend badge on the back, left rear, and flossing off the RLX?

Yup.
Just like TampaRL did recently. He awoke the (small) mod bug in me. I'm pretty sure that's as far as I'm modding this car, after long and careful thought.
