Thinking of buying a CPO '14 MDX, any advice?

Been away from the Acura family for several years. Thinking of buying a certified pre-owned '14 MDX with the Tech package and 28k miles. The car will be for my wife and primarily haul 2 kids in car seats and groceries.

Any issues particular to the 3rd gen MDX I should look into? Any idea what is a good price for a used '14? Any other relevant advice you care to share would be helpful. Thanks!

Recommend you look for a late build 14 or a 15 instead. There are some NVH issues along with a few recalls and TSBs you should get done. The 14s have additional issues with the navi unit updates that is a sour point for some 14 owners. Other than that, nothing too significant. Also check out mdxers. There's a bit more chatter there than here.

Some other things that just came to mind..
Steering column failures...
Some electronics funnies (play with it well before deciding)
Trim and panel alignment..

I bought a CPO 2014 MDX Tech Package last September with 4,000 miles (got it for $44k). I saved thousands off a brand new 2015 MDX, and a CPO extends the factory warranty by 1 year. To me, it was a no brainer...

How much is the dealer selling it for?

Hmm seems a bit high for used, considering a new 16 AWD Tech costs $45,210. The 1 year extra is nice though.

The sticker on a 16 MDX Tech with AWD is $49,300 and without AWD is 47,200.

Nobody, of course but I felt it should be clear what the sticker was given the original post.

The 14's are the first year of the 3G MDX so there will be some small issues here and there. I'd honestly recommend springing for a 15 model with some higher miles if you can. Mileage is noting on these cars, I have 110K on my 2G MDX.

Here's some values on the 14's that'll help. If you want I'll post up the 15's too, just shoot me a PM so I can do is asap for you or anyone else:
