Gravity, momentum, and ice is the enemy for fwd, rwd, and awd alike. The best you can hope for is not ending upside down or in a 30 car pile up.

That's scary. What can you do in this case?

also looks like the front right tire exploded in the video

Hang on and enjoy the ride. Sometime you can try to steer a bit into a safe'ish direction.

On another note, I hope the MDX has good insurance because every car he hit can go after the owner

My suggestion get off the brakes and give it a little gas to get the wheels turning and see if you can get enough traction to steer. Haven't been in that situation in a while and not at all with the MDX so not sure if that would help.

I like it a lot so far. The hp is way up from my previous A4. The thing is so smooth and the DCT is so much better than other jerky models I had tried.
