I mounted my dash cam on the right side next to the rear view mirror. I will post pic as I am planning to install on my 17 MDX.
I had it hardwire inside my 12 volt socket adjacent to the gear shifter.
I recently brought this as I like to have a LCD Screen.

hey raymond where did you install your dash cam, to the left or right of the rear view mirror when sitting in the car? I've had my dash cam for about a month and will be installing mine this weekend into my 2015 mdx. i want to make sure i don't block any of the oem radar/visual safety systems, it looks like it would go best on the left side of the mirror. any pictures of yours installed or when you did the installation?
did you take power from the mirror or run it all the way down the pillar to the fuse box? any tips you can provide? I'm installing a front/rear blacksys ch-100b, which is the same model i use in my TL right now. great dash cam!
i put one in mainly for insurance purposes and it makes my wife feel safer
