We're looking to upgrade the speakers/amp in our 2017 MDX and one of the stereo shops asked if it has ANC.

Anyone know?

Yes, there is an ANC system in the MDX.

I can't find any mention of it in the Owner's Manual

Yeah the manual doesn't talk about it because there's really no setting for us to turn it on/off except in the debug menu which isn't something they want us going into. It is however mentioned in brochures like this one: https://www.acura.ca/Content/acura.c..._EN_online.pdf (page 8).

I know this question is subjective but... how much will I notice Active Noise Control off?

Mm yeah that's subjective. Some folks claim it makes a world of difference. Others said they can't tell if it's on or off. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Does disabling ANC also disable the Bluetooth (HFL) microphone or is there a workaround like this one?

Hey so a guy removed the ANC module itself on MDXERS and says his mic still works just fine.

I've removed hfl units for other Acuras and it had no impact on the mics so I'm assuming it's the same
