Center console organization?
What are y'all doing to organize the center console? Salex made a sweet divider for my truck, but they don't provide anything for the MDX. Has anyone found a divider to keep things from just loosely being all over the place?

So I contacted the folks at Salex through their website. They don't have a direct fit for us, however with the dimensions I gave him, he was able to suggest a kit for a Toyota Highlander that is slightly longer and wider than our needs. Looks like I'll be trimming and sanding this weekend!!

Definitely going to make it work! It'll give me six divisions if it comes out like I've planned. I'll probably mock it up via cardboard and then transfer it to Salex's panels. They're about 1/8" thick so they're not super easy to cut, but I'll start slow and work away the material.

Well, it's done, and I like it! I made the template out of cardboard as suggested. Basically I cut 4 pieces and did each wall individually. I then mated them up with the opposite wall and taped the two pieces together. I then transferred the templates over to the applicable pieces...one down the length and three side to side. I scored each piece with a very sharp utility knife and then continued to follow the scoring marks until the cut was deep enough to snap the piece without compromising the piece.
I think it turned out quite well.

I'm happy to report no rattles! I was a little worried as the fit isn't as precise as if it were digitally measured, but it's darn close. I did slide a small sliver of automotive black carpet on the middle side-to-side divider as it was a touch loose. That sliver tightened it up well.
Next up is a magnet mount for my CCW.

Here's the Highlander kit they recommended based upon the dimensions I gave them. This kit is about 1" wider all around.

Trimmed between 3/4"-1" off each side of the pieces. A little more than that on the one central piece that runs front to back, as the console is about 12.5" at its longest point, and the piece is about 15" long.
I scored each piece with the utility knife around the template, then continued to follow the scoring marks with more pressure on the knife...making multiple passes. Eventually you work through enough material that you can break it at the scoring line. Kinda like how they score and cut glass.
I no longer have the need to keep the template around. I could put it in a FedEx envelope and send it wherever as long as the recipient paid for the shipping. My corporate rates through FedEx are pretty stellar.

Makes no noise. Holds everything I could need it to hold. Not sure I would have done much differently other than taking more time to make it perfect. It's close as it is!
