What looks better on a CU2 19"s or 20"s

Hey guys,

I just picked up a CU2 and I need some advice. I'm looking into 19 or 20"s rims but I'm having a hard time deciding what looks more clean. I want to have a pretty flush look without doing too much and I definitely don't want to roll the fenders if possible. Any advice or pictures would help!

IMO, 19s look better than 20, but 18s are the sweet spot where you still have usable tire height. But it's all personal preference.

Wheel diameter doesn't really affect the flush appearance though; that's all in offset and width. And fender rolling all comes down to offset/width, lowering, and camber.

Poke through some of the photo pages and see what jumps out to you as being aesthetically pleasing, and then check out what specs they're running. That should get you started down the road of what you could do.

Good luck and happy modding!

Personally I like 19's, but again, that's personal preference. Your real obstacle is going to be finding the correct offset that will work without fender rolling or camber work bc I assume you will be lowering the car, correct?

I am currently running 18" racing wheels, but I intennd on upgrading to 19's. Probably won't be flush bc I dont plan on rolling fenders or running crazy camber, and my car is too low

Planning to set a set of:
Front - 19x9.5
Rear - 19x10.5

Close to zero offset or maybe negative. But if going negative I might have to go 9.5 or 9.0 but that decision will be concrete later this year.

wowzzz... unless you're stretching crazy on 205 wide tires or less, you're definitely gonna need a fender pull and negative camber. Zero to negative offset on those widths will require a lot of work! Possibly even metal work to flare out the fenders. Interested to see the outcome nonetheless!

I am assuming that when rolling your fenders (carefully) you won't pull your fenders?

right!
so, after one fender, you get the feel of the machine and how much pressure to apply, etc...
the hard part is you can't tell that you're pulling it out of shape until it's too late. so, go slow.

(well, i take that back...there were warning signs of pulling the fender too much, but you learn after experience. )
and unless this your job...that is..you do it every day, you're gonna have at least one fucked up fender..LOL

These specs looks like a winner for Me. What are other options besides than pulling the fenders with those specs?

those are aggressive specs and tire and wheel will hit fender..

options are:
- raise car.
- pull and roll fender.
- camber.
- cut off bumper tabs
- or combination of all tips and tricks in order to get wheels to fit...

if you do not feel like doing the work...get less aggressive wheels.
