18" wheel set ups
Tried searching, but thought I'd just ask here. Anybody out there with 18" wheel set ups on their CU2 TSX's? The 19's are sexy porn for sure, but wonder about 18" combinations. Care to share? Thanks in advance.

Yes. I run the exact same set up as terdbath. Lol.
18x8 +35
245/40/18
He's lowered though. I'm on stock suspension.
I wish I had gone 245/45/18s though. Close up the gap a bit more.
I think that would have been the perfect set up for oem suspension.

Looking at an 18" setup with moderate drop, not slammed. Probably Eicbach spring kit to lower it no more than 1" keeping the stock shocks. Tire size recommendations I see online go from
215/45-18
225/45-18
235/45-18
245/40-18
255/40-18
I want the tire not to be tucked way into the wheel well, but looking proper for the lowered height. Hopefully don't have to roll/pull the fenders. Not sure on if I'll need spacers. Any advice here for these size as I've described?

^ SlickxAc what size tires are you running and how much are you dropped? +35/+20 is you offset front/back?
Terdbath your S Techs, are those coilovers or just their springs. If coilovers, how much are you dropped?
Tire Rack recommends 225/45, Discount Tire listed those 4 sizes I mentioned previously. I figure either 225/45 or 245/40. No spacers needed with the 245/40's you're all running?
BobbyC, if you were lowered 1 inch, would you be rubbing?
Forgive my ignorance of your spec numbers, I've been out of the modding scene for 15 years. I previously had a 90 Integra LS bought stock brand new, pre-coilover days with ST lowering springs and sway bars, Bilsteins, DC header, Greddy exhaust, Dinan chip, removed resonator box with K/N filter, +1 wheel/tire set up. That was way back in the day, I'mma old fart....

18 setup with Eibachs
Going to do the drop with Eibach Pro-kit springs. What 18" wheel, tire sizes and spacers (if needed) do you recommend without having to do any roll/pulling? Not sure if I wanna go staggered, but please give specs for staggered setup also. Also will camber kit be needed? Thanks!

I'll admit that I'm stingy with compliments on this site (and fortunately for many, I subscribe to the theory that if I don't have anything nice to say, I most often say nothing at all). That said, the drop here is perfect and the wheel selection couldn't be better. Congratulations!

i have 225/45/18 and it feels pretty meaty but is true to specs
thinner woulda looked better, and for 18s please avoid any type of lip, if it has a lip buy 19

Odd thing is that though Tire Rack recommends 225/45x18 when viewing their tire selections, when you look at 18" wheels on their site, the wheels show a recommendation of 235/45x18. Go figure. I'd probably go for the larger size, especially if not dropped. Every one of the cars shown on this thread that isn't dropped looks like a 4 door Subaru Outback ready to go 4 wheeling (as does the stock car actually). At least a 1" drop has to be the first mod undertaken with the TSX. Anything less else just reinforces the OE tire-fender gap (just my opinion of course). It sucks that there's no Aspec package for the 2nd gen car. That was a cheap and dirty way to get a little drop on the 1st gen TSX.

I just bought a 2010 TSX, I like this look, I think some 18s are in my future without a drop. Could you post pictures of the side view for a lower angle so I can get a better view of the gap?

Correct. There was/is a line of performance parts available from Acura for the 1st gen TSX (and last gen TL, RL), including a replacement set of springs/shocks (already assembled) that allowed just swapping out the original suspension. The suspension provides a modest drop.

I'm going for the fat look on tire/wheels, not stretched. With the moderate drop from the Eibachs, what is the widest wheel/tire size in 18's you all would recommend where I wouldn't have to roll/pull fenders? Also what offset with wider wheels?
Stock offset/wheel width is 55/7.5". Would having this spec in 18's and using spacers to bring it out to near flush be too weird, or should I go with the wider wheels and the appropriate offset?
Terdbath's fitment is definitely sweet....
