While parked, turn your A/C on and pop the hood and look to see if your A/C clutch in engaging. If not, then that the issue. Next, check the A/C fuse (7.5 amp) and the A/C relays. If the fuse and relay are good, check to see if you have a R-134 leak.

The a/c fuse will be underneath the steering wheel correct.
Mal so for the a/c relay.l I couldn't find which one it was. I opened the hood and removed the relay cover but didn't see anything noted for ac

OEM Acura TSX SEDAN 2009 A/C COMPRESSOR parts

Search the forum for the term "manuel" and you will find a link to the service manual which explains that.

When you replaced the refrigerant, did you have a gauge on it? Do you know for sure the refrigerant is still in the system, or may it have leaked out? You may have condenser issues also, so don't count that out. I am in the process of replacing my condenser, as it took a rock and the refrigerant leaked out.

Usually gauges read a certain amount of pressure. Does the A/C clutch engage at all? Kick on an off?

Does the gauge you are using have numbers on it indicating the pressure?

I think:
Compressor is the big expensive spinning thing mounted on the front of the engine.

Condensor is the expensive thing that looks like a radiator, mounted typically in front of your radiator.

I think the condensor might be a bit less expensive to replace, the only typical failure is it leaks.

If the compressor fails, it can send pieces of itself into the rest of the system, leading to some even more expensive cleaning and repairs.

IF the A/C clutch is not engaging your A/C clutch may be our of specs. You can either replace the entire A/C compress or just replace the clutch. My A/C crapped out on my 2009 TSX with 157,000 miles on it. I just ordered a new A/C compress and receiver/drier. I hope to replace it within the next two weeks.

It could be that - if OPs gauge has numbers on it rather than "maintenance required" it could have sprung a leak, if the pressure is super low. If the system doesn't have charge I don't believe the clutch will engage at all. If the system is overcharged it will engage and disengage rapidly, usually with some engine choking. Otherwise, if it still completely fails to kick on then I would assume some parts are in need of replacing.
