2012 TSX 6MT Won't Start

My 2012 TSX 6MT won't start.

When I turn the key, there is no click sound or anything. The lights stay on, and the radio works.

I tried to jump start the car, but that did not work. The battery was replaced back in July of this year.

I did notice it was having a little bit of difficulty starting this week.

What can it be? Alternator? Starter? or something else?

First thing to check are the battery connections. A loose and/or corroded connection can cause this problem.

Other possiibilites are failed starter, bad battery, ignition switch fault, starter cut relay. DIagnostics req'd to ID faulty component. Alternator is less likely unless battery light is illuminated.

Attached diagram may be helpful.

good luck

So I tried to start it again, and now it clicks. I checked the voltage of the battery, it was 8 volts, I tried to jump start it and kept it charging for 10 mins, it went to 10 volts, and then tried to charge it again, it was at 11 volts.

It sounds like the alternator. Any guesses?

Dealer checked the starter, alternator, and for a parasitic draw... end's up that everything is good. It's just a bad battery.
