Looks good man. Where did you get the cleared headlights? I did some baking at the end of summer to clear mine.
Did you throw in some VLED switchbacks?
I am in the milton area but have my Type S lip sitting in my basement...if you know of anywhere that can paint and install the kit let me know. Since the kit is for a 09,10 ill have to get someone to cut around the fogs.
If you are grabbing anymore items for your car I highly recommend ordering off of eBay and forwarding them through Kinekpoints to buffalo - most eBay sellers ship for free in the US, and it's a good way to get away from the duties.
Anyways, Good luck with your build.
Maybe see you at a meet with LEXX in the summer.

VTEC just kicked in, yo!
I'm new to the forums but, looks like I finally found a second GTA CU2 owner on here :P Car is looking good! How's the ride with the S-Techs? Have they lowered themselves anymore after settling in?

Ugh I'm such a noob, I can't seem to find the edit button for my post (maybe it's because of a 4-post count?).
Have you scraped or bottomed out on GTA roads with the S-Techs?

The amount of drop you get form springs won't be an issue on majority of the roads in GTA. However, when the springs do get beat up after maybe 2 years, you'll be sitting slightly lower. As always though, for me when driving with a lowered car, just be cautious around ramps and angle your car accordingly. I'm dropped on BC Coils (not slammed simply lowered), and majority of roads and ramps are still fine for me. With that being said, I have to be extra careful around ramps since I have scraped my Vibrant resonator twice before.

no i just ended up going with some amber bulbs, i can't afford the switchbacks and i feel like adding resistors and such is just too time consuming for me at the moment.
i know some guys in st Catharine's that do some good work they repainted my door and number and i honestly can't tell the difference. i can give you their contact info if you'd like. I'm not getting mine painted till the spring/ summer. i was planning on doing the instal myself i could give you a hand when it comes to the time. I'm not to far from you I'm in georgetown.
i just looked that up thats unreal man thanks for the advice shipping is murdering me at the moment !
but ya ill deff be seeing you around this year buddy !
welcome to the forum pal ! there are a few of us creeping around in the gta lol. honestly they ride great the drop is about 1.5 inches. it suits my needs, i haven't scraped on anything. the only thing with coil overs is you have to keep them clean especially in the winter. you don't want those things jamming up on you or anything. what wheels are you planning on getting ?

Thanks man! I guess I'm not very original; I see many of the CU2 owners on here with F14s and they look pretty good with a nice drop. I'm debating between Tein S-Tech and Tein SS. I'm thinking SS so that when I put on winters I can raise the car up a bit as well so I won't get stuck in snow. I also hear how the stock struts give out easier when dropped on springs, and that it's a better "investment" to get coils immediately.

Great progress. Can't believe it still snows this late up there. I never realized how hard the rest of the country has it for outside activities until I joined this forum. Summer should bring some great pictures!

yea I'm running stock struts the ride is pretty much the same, its a bit stiffer but nothing really noticeable. i like them quite a bit, they are good during the winter i have had no issues with them so far.

I like the plate how you mounted it looks so much better than stock, looking good nothing like a clean black car
