Hope to achieve this same look! I just tried to to use my decals but they do not stick, so I'm going to have to think of something else.

paint match the front lip. dont leave it black.

go to http://www.expresspaint.com/ and get a 12oz aerosol spray can. ive used this on my PMM and GLM and it was a match. i remember paying like $23 a can

use this specific 2K aerosol spray can for clear coat. $17 a can.

i did get some orange peel but usually you get rid of it through color sanding/wet sanding. then polish and buffer.

i was too was lazy to do all that..

if you have all the time in the word to prep it correctly, it will look really good.

using these cans i rate it a 9 out of 10 in regards to paint matched

Lol whoa guys... I was going to go with rattle can if the matte didn't look good. I can get it locally as well. I'm pretty good at painting so I would def do it myself if it came down to it. Final pictures coming soon.

looks like its hard to get perfectly clean, def. see some rough edges there, but im gonna attribute it to the difficulty of working in that space with that material, and not ur craftmanship

this is gonna be a popular mod im sure :thumbsupbro:

looks good man

your reverse lights are throwing it off.

i saw this rattle can thats like transparent frost. you typically see this like with frosted windows used on bathroom doors.

try using this on the reverse light area.

they also make transparent frost vinyl. i think this would clean up the reverse lights

why would you do such a thing, your going to dim out your reverse light. putting frost spray paint will restrict the light output by a lot.

dont do this.

Yes, this is the nature of plastidip. It bonds to anything it touches which makes taping off an area a draw back, but its the only way I know how to do something like this. There are some areas I am going to clean up but overall I am pretty happy with it.

Honestly, it doesn't really look pink to me. I like they way they already are, maybe if you do it defcon and it looks noticeably different I will consider haha.
