Take that chrome piece off your trunk. I finally figured out how to do it today. I realized your not taking off the chrome strip, your taking off the entire black plastic piece that the chrome is attached too. Pry and wiggle from left to right with a flat head first. Once its loose, grab a hold of the middle of it all, and just yank lol. I broke some plastic tabs but i aint never putting the part back on again so i dont care. lol

aiight guys small update I recently purchased a set of weathertech visor and I loved them

and also next was to color matched my door handles I gota say from a scale from 0-10 (0 real easy) I would say its a 8 even though Ive taken alot before from different cars, reason why I painted them was cause I couldn't stand them I know some people say it's hard to paint over chrome but with the right prep u'll be good to go

1) I took the door handles out then sand them with 80 grit making my way all the way to 320

2) I then applied 2 medium coats of Wurth self etching primer for a strong adhesion to all metals and other surfaces



3) then I applied 2 nice coats of 2k primer to cover most of my sand scratches then sanded them before aplying paint



4) then couple hrs later VOILA!! I've done this many times and had no problems whatsoever



peeping on my neighbor's place haha



these were just for the rear such a pita to install back

I thought about it but I think I can live with them and also I know for a fact they will be a lot harder to be remove then the door handles but once I have some free time I'll look into it

Yeah those handles look great! Ever since I saw that red mugen CU2 concept I wanted to do my handles in black chrome. It looked awesome!
