The broken off lug key is finally extracted, so I now have the camber rods installed and just finished alignment. Now to roll the rear fenders and mount the spacers once my brother gets my tool back to me next week. Proper Volk lugs have been ordered to replace these gorilla nuts, and I'm toying with the idea of silver or red Stoptechs. Opinions?

Looks very good. My thing with red is that I'd need to paint the rears red so that it would all go together. Since the factory caliper is silver, I could get silver Stoptech and be more subtle and match the factory color. Red definitely pops, but it's not even a fast car. Is the flash "trying too hard"?

I understand what you mean 100% the way I look at it is, the standard BBK color is Red....so when i upgraded i went that route. Later on down the road I might change it to blue, but for now I like the red...it contrasts great with the blue and especially with those volks it will look great. Now if stealth is what you are going for the Silver will be perfect and look nice. It will fill out the rim just right, the only thing either way is you have to get matching rotors for the back so it doesnt look stupid! Can't wait to see the result!

My E36 M3 had stock blackish rear brakes for years and years while having red Porsche Brembo brakes up front. When i bought it off of my brother, first order of business was to paint the rears, refinish the peeling fronts, and get matching drilled rear rotors. Completely improved the look. It also helps to have red brake pads like EBC Red Stuff. Man, there's too much to spend money on: brakes, camera gear, and house shopping. Maybe I'd better tap the brakes until we find a house.

I'm much more conservative in taste, I'd say silver. You already have the rims popping, and the actual blue of the car is already very striking. Red calipers might be a little too much.

Volk lugnuts for the GT-C just arrived, car is cleaned up ready to go to my college homecoming/tailgating (blue & gold are the colors), and oh yeah, my TU plate came in and is on to tie in the colors:

I guess I should show some restraint and go with silver if I can get the purchase approved. Since you have to take the brake rotor off the rear to get extended studs on, it would be a good time to add slotted rears as well.

I guess you understood, but I meant that I'd be adding the 10mm spacers at the same time. Too bad that spacers are such a pain with having to replace the studs. I have 20mm spacers as well that I was going to use when/if the RDX wheels go back on. Now it seems like a bunch of work. I'm spoiled to BMW where you just use extended lug bolts.

I happened to be alone and had the camera yesterday evening as I was driving home and ran across a couple of spots I thought I'd test out for location. I stopped at the first stop to capture the God Rays coming down, and the second is an open field but unfortunately looks at a lumber yard in the back.

Have fun, but remember that it doesn't take a DSLR nor a professional grade model to create good images. Learn the technical bits but also learn about art and design. Equipment merely reduces limitations and diverts attention away from learning about composition. I'm guilty of that myself.

Thanks everybody.

Next is to roll the rear fenders and put on 10mm spacers. Problem is that since I'd have to take the rotor off to change out the extended studs, I might as well do drilled rear rotors to go with the Stoptech front brakes I'm Jonesing to get. Problem is that we are house hunting, and I'd better not spend the cash until something there is settled.

Oh, and my 2nd TU plate came in and is installed. First one was the generic numbered TU_ _ _ _ but this one is 54MPL3. Generic and personalized at the same time.

Your wagon looks awesome, man. Absolutely beautiful. I'm shopping for a wagon myself, and hopefully will be able to purchase one in mid-December. Hoping there will still be 2012 models to be had for a deal at that time.

Hey guys, long time no see. It's been forever since I took time to take a picture of her, so I finally got an assistant to do a rig shot because it's just too dangerous by myself. Rear camber is corrected, but I still haven't gotten around to installing the rear spacers and rolling fenders. It's fine now but will be a problem when it's flush. Got my license plate on: 54MPL3

CLtotheTL32, me too. this evening the UPS Santa came down my street, and I ran out to the front like a kid to an ice cream truck thinking I was getting my Nikon D800. He gets out, has me sign for boxes the wrong shape for a camera and then starts in about how much he loves the wagon and has seen it around town 10-15 times blah blah blah. Turns out the package was radiant heating mesh for the new house's bathroom floor which is cool, but I want my camera. It was weird for a UPS driver not to be gone in 5 seconds.

Puppetmaster, me too. My home remodel budget is getting blown which is keeping me from doing the brakes right now. I'd also really like the sport steering wheel.

Here are a few I took today in the parking lot before going in to see Turbo, which BTW is a must see!

OK friends and neighbors, I just bought the Sport steering wheel. I'd better get the shift knob as well and be ready to do some interior shots.
