This is tough, the volks are sick, but something keeps bringing me back to the RDX wheels. Eitherway you go, it will be top notch. Well done with your wagon.

I obviously love the Volks because they were mine, but im REALLY liking the rdx wheels on there! I think once you get it dropped the Volks wont look as small and just "thrown on there", and it will make it flow alot better. Either way, the car looks amazing and Im glad you got it way sooner than expected!

front ball joints arrived a few days ago, and today two more boxes from Excelerate were on the porch with sway bar and Tein. I'm assuming the rear links are in one of the boxes. Tomorrow I have to work on another car, so this will have to wait. Besides, I'm waiting on the OEM top mount parts to arrive. Nevertheless, we will soon see the first ACURA wagon with modified suspension.

Okie dokie. A box of parts was on my porch, so I guess I need to start assembling them and be ready to install everything. I still haven't ordered the tires. My wallet kinda hurts after just buying AST 4100 coil overs, clutch, oil pump, and slave cylinder for the M3/4.

I'm still rolling on the RDX wheels as the tire size is close enough really. They are about 1.5% too small, so IMO, they work for now. We just had some things come up where it looks like it's going to be my car over the next year and then be my wife's. That means I'll probably go blingy with the Volks at first and swap to the RDX next year. I guess I COULD only strip & sell tires from the Volk for now to put the RDX back on in a jiffy.

As for stock wheels, I need to put them back on to get a picture of them at stock height in stock wheels for a "before" shot. Then I can do the suspension and test all three plus Volk w/ "correct" tires when they come.

The mechanic just finished work on the Saab I just sold. Getting the car back to him was most important. Now I'm going to start assembly of the coilovers.

Here's what's been a glitch that family and friends don't even know about. On Christmas night, we found out that we're having a surprise third child. So in the back of my mind, I've wondered if I need to sell this while virtually new against my desire to keep it and see it with suspension on. It looks like we've decided to keep it and get a minivan in the coming year, so now I can proceed. If the wagon had been ordered instead of the dealer trade, we would have changed it to a minivan purchase for sure. Odyssey on bags?

Congrats on the 3rd kid on the way!

Nothing wrong with a pimped out Odyssey. I would rather see your TSX finished though

Congrat's on the new baby! Having two small children myself I can see where you are coming from with the minivan. I would love to see a new odyssey slammed on some properly fitted wheels, but I think your car is gonna look great!

Thanks, everybody!

englesswinterco, let me know if you have info on dropping an Odyssey. So far it looks like K-Sport coilovers are said to work with all models of Odyssey which seems odd.

With those 19x9 +22, there is so much poke that it would take roller skate suspension to keep it from rubbing. I like flush, but no poke for me. I pulled fenders on my Saabaru to get them to fit, and I'm not about to do that to a new car.

I finally pulled the trigger on tires, so those should arrive in a few days. I also got a second set of TPMS so that I don't have to tear apart the RDX set yet. New aluminum hub centric rings (73mm-64.1mm) are ordered since I somehow crushed one of the plastic ones. Now to make time to assemble the coilovers. One baby step at a time.

Speedbump: front adjustable ball joints are on (what a pain in the neck!), but I ran into an issue. We accidentally mixed the top hat sides since they are L&R specific. We knew better but just got in a hurry. Then it turns out my guy torqued the top nut so tight that we can't get one side apart to switch them. :unamused: as soon as I can fix that, I'll finish it up. I was so pumped to have this finished.

March 8, and I'm still waiting for the strut to be fixed by Tein and returned. It should be back to me by the end of March, and I'll be quick to get them installed as soon as that happens. Ordered this junk in December and it may not be done until April. My pregnant wife is already having a hard time getting out of the car. Just wait when it's dropped 1.5"

Wow what a pain. Sorry to hear.

Maybe you should just get air ride so you can raise it up when the wife wants to get in and out

Time to bump this old thread! I finally made time to get the suspension on, rear toe kit, and swaybar. Alignment is done as well, so it's only in need of photos. So of course, I figured I'd shoot it in the same place I did the photoshop lowering. So here it is:

I think I need to get a 10mm spacer kit for the rear to make it just about like the fronts.

Time to edit some photos now...

I really really really hate that in this forum, you can't edit posts. Therefore, I can't go back to the beginning and edit what post #'s contain updated photos. So continue on here or new thread? I guess I'll keep it going for now.
