Well, what do you think? Here's the thread specifically on dipping the mirrors: https://acurazine.com/forums/second-.../#post15469988

Did the rear as suggested in the other thread, but I'm undecided.

The rear actually looks ok. The mirrors look out of place.

Iduno. I think that the stock blue mirrors and black undertray look better, IMO.

Thanks for the input. I'm still living with it. Sometimes I love the mirrors, and other times I'm meh. Same with the rear. I think with the RDX wheels, it works. When I switch back to the Volks, I might peel it off. It's a simple change, so why not?

Wow, it's been a long while since I've been around. Just ordered some KW Variant 1's to replace the Tein SS and EBC RedStuff DP3767C for the Stoptech ST41 up front. Exelerate Performance suggested Stoptech's street performance pads for the rear.

Welcome back!

For what it's worth, EBC claims "low" dust for Redstuffs, but I went through 2 sets with no luck. I contacted EBC and they told me my set was defective. They sent me a replacement set and no dice. It's very dusty, much more than BMW/Audi/Benz stock front pads. If you like your wheels brake dust free, I suggest looking at an alternative.

I've since switched to Akebono ProACT pads and dust is pretty much gone.

Thanks guys, and hello!

I have EBC RedStuff on my E36 M3 (using 993T Brembo calipers), and although I don't drive it much, the brake dust hasn't been bad. Stoptech's pads have been HORRIBLE about dust. The EBC are already ordered, but I suppose they could be returned to Excelerate if I could verify "better" pads.

anything wrong with the Tein's? I might be interested in buying them if you're gonna sell them

I've just wanted to change it up. They have about 50k on them. Would you want them with the top hats already installed or use them off of yours? Or get me your top hat pieces and leave the Tein assembled. I'm bad about getting around to actually selling things, but hey, you're close enough we could meet halfway. I was supposed to be just north of you last weekend camping at Trappers Rendezvous before the ice storm that didn't happen scared us all away.

I just realized that I never took any photos of the interior with the sports steering wheel and knob. I mean, the only difference on the knob is that it's perforated, but I bet there aren't too many of the sports wheels floating around. I'm making a mental note to get her cleaned up and shoot some photos again.

In the meantime, I've had a deposit on a Model 3 for the past 2 years and will be looking at getting a white/white Dual Motor once they become available. Then I've got to figure out if it's worth keeping this darling around for my son to drive or what to do with it. I really don't ever want to part with it. I wish I had space and money and knowledge to swap a 3.5L and SH-AWD 6MT drivetrain in it. I'm sure it would fit.

I just picked up the sports knob and will likely pick up the wheel next time I need to make an order at Acura.

Doh, completely forgot about needing to get some interior shots. The wagon is becoming a secondary car as we just got a Tesla Model 3 Performance in October. I'm curious to see about fitting the Volk wheels onto it, but I need to have the holes drilled bigger for M14 studs. If I do, the wagon just might get some 20" Tesla wheels which would be pretty cool. The Volk are 9" +38 vs the Tesla 8.5" +35.

Hey Preston, the Volks are actually 8.5 +39 if memory serves me correct from that many years ago.

Any chance you have a picture from the same line of sight as in the first image, but after you lowered the car and with the 10mm front/20mm rear spacers and wheels all mounted to the car, as seen in the second image?

Honestly, the front wheel fitment in the before/first image appears fine for my taste, as I'd rather be a tiny bit tucked just inside the fender/rear quarter panel arch rather than flush with it, but I'm not sure just how "tucked" the rear looks with the RDX wheels. Agree on the tire size, but the drop looks great, and I prefer the look of the fuller RDX wheels, not to mention the contrast the silver color provides with the VBP paint.

Whoa, it's been forever since I've been on here, and it seems all of my photos have vanished! They must have all been on Photobucket that I didn't care to pay for. Oh well. I came back on here to look at what I'd posted to verify that my brakes are Stoptech ST-41 as it needs new pads. Of course I didn't write it, but they should be 41's. It's a shame more people haven't gone for the BBK because it made a world of difference.

11.5 years later and it's still in the family. These days I've passed the car on to my oldest son for use, and in a couple of weeks the clear bra gets removed or replaced, rear spoiler repainted, brake pads, etc. At least it looks like the forum now supports attached images. I'll shoot some after its clean up and post in here for posterity sake.
