^^ Ah got it

I am still reseraching how Robb (wagon owner from CO) took that EDM grille that you have, and put that A on it. So if I can find a good way to do it, I will grab it.

Thanks . Again, your wagon looks great!

dude how easy it to do that?

I really want the red cluster.. and Im itching to buy a SE tsx cluster to get the red. But if using a red film works just as well I might do that instead of buying one

I'll most likely sell my red

It's not hard but I had to break the bonds that held those pieces
Together to make tinting it easier. The pointer secton and the silver trim were joined together by dots of melted plastic so I snapped all
Those and glued everything when I was done

Are you going to sell the entire SE gauge cluster? And what price? The only one on ebay is for $250... That's too much.

Does $150 sound good to you?

I'll know how it lights up this weekend

I only used the rings because my friend at the dealer
Said if I swapped the whole cluster I'd have mileage issues

Those are nice but I'm staying away from 3 piece because they will look smaller visually than a monobloc.

The ones i'm getting are multispoke, similar to the wheels on the mclaren p1

Oh so you used to the SE cluster to split apart and do the blue tint?

Hmm yeah I would want one that you didn't have to split apart

Well I experimented today, I plugged in the red cluster directly, (the little light on the lower left blinked for a sec and went out, not sure if that means anything) and then the cluster works as normal. The mileage shown, was the mileage on that cluster, and not that of the car. Wonder if an error will be stored or show up.

I have to say, the red was much much brighter than the way I did it by swapping the red rings into a white cluster.

Kosta.. I talked to the meter guys at work and they indicated that you would get an error on the speedo until the gauge and the ecu match the same mileage. I never had the chance to call acura service center and ask how much it cost to match the mileage if a new/different cluster was installed. All they have to do is plug in their special OBDII diagnostic thing and they sync it with the ecu. I would think it would be really cheap... but we all know how service centers operate.

Any noticeable error with different speedometer after few days?

Just out of curiosity- mileages are saved in cluster?

It's saved in both the ECU and the cluster to prevent anyone from altering the mileage. They must match to not throw an error. It's my understanding that only Acura can sync a different speedo with your vehicle.

Can someone find out the cost of doing that from a service center?

Sounds like its more headache if anything. The moment I install SE cluster and drive away, ECU and my original Cluster mileage will not match.

Unless acura syncs it again.

Yes the old cluster will become out of sync once the car moves with the new one plugged in.

Yup
That's why I only swapped rings to begin with

Not the perfect way but at least it doesn't mess with anything

I Didn't move the car not to set off a signal that I'm trying to tamper with the mileage
