new skunk2 header in the works

so skunk2 is ready to launch their 3" header not sure how long from now.I'm currently the only one on the street with it they test fit/dyno tested on my 6 speed manual about 3 days ago i was told it did about 10 hp gain between mid range and higher rpm but could do way better with a flash pro.

We will have these available on the website as soon as Skunk2 tells us. Look for a special sale. And thank you for helping in the testing process.

We have that integrated exhaust outlet though... It's just one big pipe, so how does that work?

its more of a down pipe similar to the rv6 but with less of a bend giving it a better air flow. trying to upload pictures but not working for some reason.

you need to host the pics somewhere and post links.
Or make an attachment.

Its another option with less gains so it best be cheaper. Optimusaccord did a dyno with the RV-6 and gained 15 and another 10 I believe after the tune.

Not just rev but rev then let off quick when cold. Happened once or twice in the beginning now i am more careful. You need all 3 ; cold, punch it, let it off quick. Otherwise no cell.

To clear them i bought a dongle that goes in obd port. Then uses Bluetooth to communicate. Get app torque and it bluetooth thru dongle. Easy peasy.

Are they coming out with a 3" exhaust? The 3" downpipe isn't going to be that effective when the stock exhaust becomes the bottleneck.

the placement of the second o2 looks far from where the stocker is/

yeah i didnt realize it removed both cats. i guess thats cool if there are no cel's.

also you will need prolly need a defouler for the o2.

we have E test here so the oem stuff would need re-install to pass the mirror looking for the cat test.

other pipe passes. just saying.

Nothing to take away from the rv-6 pipe it's gorgeous, but I live in the other sunshine state that could give a damn if I ran smokestacks out of my hood lol. If I went with Richie's setup I would be going with DP/testpipe combo regardless. Which takes me back more than 100 bucks over the skunk2 pipe. Not sure if the hp gains are going to be there with the rv-6 pipe but skunk2 from what I know have been making somewhat decent quality parts for Hondas/Acuras for quite some time. Not too too concerned about the minor issues shown here like bottle necking and cel lights because a flashpro purchase will be soon after. And will probably go through vittuned.com as it seems to be the best option out there. I will try to install the flashpro b4 the skunk2 pipe to see if I can get at least a baseline edyno number b4 and after the pipe is installed.

Just officially placed the order for the skunk2 pipe through heeltoeauto.com. We shall find out soon if all the hype about this being on backorder is true. I hope not but regardless if there is a wait I know I want it and the intro price on these parts is usually the best. Still kicking myself for not ordering the rv-6 pipe at intro price. I was not going to make the same mistake twice . I will stay posted with any updates

Yeah it came with a defouler, gaskets, and some bolts. No sticker though which is a mild wtf. I don't really care since I still have a sticker from when I bought Skunk2 shocks for my Civic. Still though wtf?

Installed it last night. Was pretty simple but I have a small leak that is driving me crazy! I think it's at the defouler I'll tackle it later. Here's a small clip of a rev up with factory catback.

Also would like to note that besides the small leak I have driven the car for a full day with no cel codes thrown and no other problems.. Car really screams now!
