Have you Dyno your K24Z3 Auto?

Want to see Dyno numbers from your Automatic 4 cyl and what mods are you running.... I have recently Dyno my car and I feel that something is off , I'm running a RV6 downpipe W/test pipe and a CAI it only made 169hp/155tq it was tuned with a Flashpro. I was expecting at least a 10-15 hp gain from stock.

also, dynos are not a great indicator of how much power you have!!!
it's only a tool to help figure out the difference between mods...and if i read that right, you dynoed 167/155 stock...added mods and dynod again...
did you happen to dyno on the same day, same weather conditions, same dyno?
lots of variables can throw off the readings....

a real indicator of power is the quarter mile.
trap speed indicates how fast your car really is.

I'm not sure the CAI adds much value, but you're going in the right direction adding the derp and test pipes. +2 whp is almost 3 hp at the crank.

Do you have exhuast? Because that might be the restrictive part of the system now.

Justin asked many great questions. If you must stick with the dyno to get a measurement of performance for your car, you will need to record the weather conditions for that day (temp, relative humidity, etc), and also you should be doing the stock vs. not test on that same day for an accurate comparison.

But damn 2whp difference? That's a slap in the face what tune are you running? My butt dyno makes me feel like with the RV6 PCD and a tune, the car does feel a lot peppier. I recently added the GReddy catback, but I don't see much benefit in re-tuning.

Dyno plots from RV6's website:

http://www.rv6-p.com/products/tsx/2n...i4dp-dyno.html

Those plots were from optimusaccord when he used to frequent these parts. I remember he said the day he went to the dyno after tuning was hot and humid and probably could have squeeked out a couple more hp's and tq's.

He also had a manual transmission. Automatic transmissions will have greater drivetrain losses.

another not too scientific test is to race.

stock, your car should right next to another stock TSX
mod it and then check to see if you leap out in front of the stock TSX.

this is how i measured my mods.
i would race a buddy with the same transmission TL that I have and would be neck in neck...after my mods...I jumped out in front, but ONLY at the top of 3rd gear and into fourth. because VTEC!
