First post First TSX- My plans Your advice lol

Just picked up a 09 TSX Tech pack and I love it but I need it to be just a bit more peppy. I got the auto because I don't want a race car as I just sold my 600 whp Mazdaspeed 3 but I don't want to struggle to get around someone on the freeway either. The last k series I owned I sold in 2005 and that was an 03 rsx type s I bought new so it's been a while. I have a couple plans that I will list below and want to see if this is a good route. Again this is auto so I know I can't go crazy although I have already considered a 6 speed swap if I get bored enough.

I plan on
tsudo exhaust
short ram intake. I like the hps (I think that's the name) because the filter goes behind the battery more away from engine.
Rbc manifold or RRC. I don't feel like spending the extra 400 on the RRC but if I do end up swapping to a 6 speed than I will go turbo and go that route. For now rbc should be good if I can mate it.
Kpro
e tune. I think we have a great tuner locally here in Orlando area but I will try to get the best.
Trans cooler
rdx injectors
bigger throttle body

if I stay auto supercharger will happen if I do swap to manual than turbo will happen. This is how the car sits right now

Is there anything I am missing? are these mods possible? Don't flame me if I'm wrong lol.

My speed 3 engine so you know I'm serious lmao.

Speed 3

Welcome! 600whp speed3 to an auto 200 crank hp TSX is QUITE the change. I think if you decide to keep this car, there's without a doubt you'll be boosting it.

1. I've heard conflicting results about RBC on our cars. Mostly no gains or even losses, depending on how you're trying to tune this car.
2. Why KPro? If you're just going for an e-tune, why not use flashpro? It'll be a lot cheaper, and unless you're doing an engine swap or something really non-trivial, I don't really see the point in a KPro.
3. Trans cooler sounds like a great addition.
4. Please keep us posted!

@xtcnrice yes definitely a huge drop in power lol. I guess I just wanted change. When I first bought my car it only had 263 to the crank lol.

This is is exactly why I made this post because I don't know much and a lot of the treads I read are outdated. I thought kpro was the way to go but I am always down to say a few so I'll look into the flash pro.

As far as the rbc goes that sucks lol. The price was good but also is the skunk manifolds. Is anyone running the skunk manifold on a gen 2 tsx?

What is the rv6 pcd you have?

Also so can you post a pic of your car lol. I want to see how it sits with the tein basis you are running. Thanks for your time.

Check out my build thread for pics (it's in my signature). There's a bit of bs in there so, might take you some time to find what you need

Skunk2 IM, I've seen some guys run that on the TSX. As for on this forum, you'll have to do a search in the 2G TSX subforum and see. I don't recall much talk about it since it's pretty expensive.

RV6 PCD is the pre-cat delete from a company called RV6. Pre-cat delete is basically headers for this car, and will eliminate the first catalytic converter in the exhaust system (the one closest to the engine being first). There are 2 cats on our cars.

As for e-tunes, Vit (VitViper) is an extremely popular option. He's well educated, and has e-tuned many 2G TSXs. He's also tuned a lot of 8G/9G Civic Sis, which are similar to our car in many ways (9G especially) as we share a K series engine.
