2013 Tsx v4 exhaust/muffler
What's up a-zine . I've been wanting to do mufflers or something on my car to give the car a nice aggressive look from the rear. I am scared to do anything because I don't want that raspy sound at all . I'd like that deep throne rumble nothing crazy n I know its hard to get a 4 cylinder to sound like that..... Any feed back will be appreciated and sound clips as wel!!! Thank u

VTEC just kicked in, yo!
If you're modifying the existing stock exhaust, make sure you do not remove the stock resonator. You likely just need to cut the stock mufflers off and weld on some universal magnaflow/vibrant mufflers in place. If you think there's rasp, you can add a second resonator in there to get rid of it. However, I doubt you'll see any rasp. Rasp is usually caused by deletion of catalytic converters, or deletion of resonators.
If you want something plug-and-play so that you can swap back to stock, you'd need a full catback exhaust system. There aren't many out there for the 2G TSX. AFAIK, for dual-exit exhausts there's Fujitsubo Legalis R (from Japan; expensive), Mugen (from Japan; really expensive), TSUDO (eBay; cheap), and other eBay variants (cheap).

Go for the new endless rpm setup coming out, thats what Im doing. I already have a cut and weld job on my rears but the bad quality metal has rusted and looks horrible

I think I see where the problem is. It's the assumption he is incorrectly referencing the engine format.
+1 on seeing the endless rpm exhaust...
Though I'm about to get the PCD, resonator, and probably a couple magnaflow mufflers myself.

Burning Brakes
Or, you can contact fox exhaust for their axle back. It'll cost like $600 bucks though
ORRRR, the cheapest alternative to aggressive look is just get bigger exhaust tips

Yea I have stock exhaust with the two mufflers past the rear axle cut and 14829s welded on. Make sure that your metal is good quality. Mine lasted two winters and looks horrible. Live and learn, getting the endless catback and PCD come spring

dam really? i thought magnaflows were good on quality though...did you polish n clean them ? also do u have any pictures and sound clips of it id like to see n hear how it sounds

I used the oem muffler tips so the look is the same as stock.
No sound clips sorry car is in storage, unless I remember to take a vid on my cold start/ warm up

I think it was the quality of the pipes used and the welds the shop did, not the mufflers themselves. Also driving in CT, VT and MA for two winters didnt help.

Anyone ever run a flowmaster super 10 or 44 in place of the stock mufflers? I have two of them sitting around collecting dust... was thinking about throwing them on there but they're super 10 flowmasters... so they'll inevitably loud AF. I WILL be leaving the stock cats and resonator for now, waiting to get the Greddy SP2 when the funds are right.
