LMAO, because nothing screams mature like an antagonistic internet tough guy mechanic that doesn't own a torque wrench.

Alright guys so I purchased a front end suspension kit. Complete with upper/lower control arms, tie rods, sway bar links, everything that..."suspends" the car from the ground

So my next question is... Upon replacing these myself before having it aligned, should I purchase a torque wrench if I don't already own one? I've heard its a necessary tool I've heard it's unnecessary. Ibe never replaced a front end before so this is new to me as well.
only thing you need to torque is the nut for the CV joint to the wheel bearing. I hope you have a air hammer too, other wise it will be a challenge pop the tie rods and ball joints loose, and don't use a tie rod or ball joint fork to pop them loose.

own a couple torque wrenches actually, just do not need to use them to rebuild the front or rear suspension systems. But then I am sure you have never aligned a car either, other than watching someone do it for you that is.

Dude, you are one abrasive, trolling, fucking asshole. No one was even disagreeing with you and yet you fly off the handle. Chill the fuck out and quit being such a pompous piece of shit.

Great, you can rebuild a front end. It's not fucking rocket science if you know how to use a ratchet wrench. For fuck sakes...

Front End Replacement

Guys guys,

Rcb sent me dixpix to prove it. It's a whopping 10 cm long!!! That's like 25 inches or something right?!?

I'd share but I can't attach pictures that big, it will break the Internet.

rbc, does the amount of force it takes to remove the nut from your TC indicate how tight you need to squeeze it?

Oh sweet baby jeebus, how did I miss this?

I'm immature like a 3rd grader and I can't fix fuckall. Like, literally, I take my car to the dealer for everything from tire rotation to spark plug chang out. I call a plumber when I need to change the water filter on my sink. People cut my lawn because I can't figure out how to run the mower.

Basically, what I'm getting at, is will you verbally berate me too? I mean, I actually deserve it. I'm a dumb, dumb, little man and I need to be put in my place. Put in my place in the dumpster with the other stupid garbage. Please please tell me next!

Thank you in advance. (I'm pinching my nipples so hard right now)

I have not, that is a statement of fact. But I have probably done a bunch of other stuff that I taught myself how to do without a manual or a teacher and have become successful at it. Remember, what you're bragging about being so good at is your profession. This is all just a hobby for me that I choose to do myself. If I did it as a profession it's pretty obvious I'd be a complete fucking badass at it too, because experience and repetition.

Actually, now that I know you are actually not full of shit and a certified mechanic, I had one serious question for you.

Do you like fish sticks?

Any of you highly experienced suspension gurus know how much wrenching it takes to remove the pivot bolt on the driver side front lower control arm of a 2G TL? It appears that the outboard transmission mount must be removed in order to back the bolt out far enough to remove and replace the driver side front lower control arm. The Acura shop manual is silent on this issue.
The passenger side lower control arm was easy to replace once I cut the shock absorber fork bolt that was rusted solid in the lower control arm bushing.

so your good at making 3-D solid models and part families of assemblies, then. It does pay quite well, three times a mechanics wage FYI.

Since it pays so well, I'd highly suggest investing part of that money into this little thing called 'education'. Teach you some proper Engrish.
