ADM M-Sport
17" x 7"
215/45/17
+48 mm offset

Car is not currently dropped, but plan on a modest drop in the future......still ok?

Thanks!
That will work with no rubbing, but I would do 215/50

yes they will fit. Depending on the drop, the back tires may rub.

Wheels are HP racing Evo

2000 TL

18x8
225/40/18
5 x 114.3/115/100
Can't find offset so if you know these wheels that would be sweeter than sweet.

You really need to find the offset to know if they will fit without issues

Will not clear without possibly a little bit of negative camber, definately fender rolling, and definately cut tabs.

You will have to cut tabs, and what tire size are you using? Is it, or will it be dropped?

Its all ready droped my car with Eibach - Springs - Coil - 2.1-inch Drop Front And 1.6-inch Drop Rear

And as for the tire i have nooo clue yet. Havent ordered it yet.
I knoww im screwed but the thing is i did my reasearch before i ordered it. On tirerack.com they had a rim that is Enkei Racing RP03-RC 18x8.5 Offset of 42 and tire size of 225/45-18 And they said it will fit our TL. So u see that i mean.

Soo i looked at this before i ordered it. The rim i have is 7.5 not the 8.5 of this one.

Read the first page. It tells size and the min offset and max width that should be used without having any issues.

Hey guys, looking for some input/insight on a problem I got. On the front page, they say that:

7.5" dish = +45 offset
8" dish = +48 offset

The problem is the rim I want is offered kinda mix and match of the information above. BTW, I am lowered on H&R springs (1.75" Front and 1.5" rear) with koni yellows. Thanks guys.

RIM = MBmotoring CLS
OPTION 1: 18x7.5" Offset=+48
OPTION 2: 18x8" Offset=+45 (I'd like this one most but looks like the rims may either stick out too much or rub)

im no wheel tech but i think the 18x7.5 with +48 offset should sit pretty good with ur drop...considering that +55 is our offset i dont see a problem with those...

Thanks for your help. I was thinking that was the safest bet. They are the only rims I can go for aside from A-spec 18x8s since the Nakayama Vador is made no more . This one actually looks exactly the same but without the split.

Unfortunately no hyper black (silver like color don't let black fool you). But I can always repaint them.

Yes they will bolt up, but if you have any plans on dropping the car, I would not even bother with the 8.5" width. The 8" width will still stick out but you may be able to get them to fit without rubbing by trimming the fender tabs and rolling the fender lips a little.
How about the 18x8 +55? I found them from Acura dealer online.

I got 1 week before they come... I gotta measure my space since I have 1.75"F/1.5" rear with camber kits. I believe the calculation said i got ~3 cm extra toward the fender/tabs so I may be in trouble.

I prefer to put on 235/40 but looks like 225/40 will be less headaches. Thanks again.

Nope. You will need to run a 225/35, no way on the 235. You will need to cut tabs, roll fenders, and a little camber to make that work.

Good evening fellow TL owners,

Not to offend any HARDCORE TL drivers but I have recently been interested in replacing my stock 16 in wheels from my 2000 acura tl, with 17x7.5/17x7 Infiniti G35 wheels. I know 17x7.5 will fit, but I'm not sure about the lug, or bolt pattern of the G35 wheels. The wheels are shown in these pictures of an ebay sale...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/73693...spagenameZWDVW

...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FACTO...spagenameZWDVW

Will both or either fit? Thanks alot for the help!

^ G35 sedan rims should be OK ... bolt pattern is similar (5x114.3) but the offset is a little lower than a 2nd gen TL. You might want to investigate into hubcentric rings to minimize vibration at high speeds ... those are little different on Nissans VS Hondas (in general).

The second set of rims (for the G35 coupe) ... bolt pattern is fine but too wide and lower offset. Definitely not recommended on a 2nd gen TL. Don't bother trying to fit these on a TL unless you are wanting to do modifications suggested by 02type-s.
